Ok guys any input will help me out immensely .... My plants are ready for flower. They were looking beautiful and green under a 400 watt mh. I just finished my flower room and put them in there yesterday and today I noticed the plants look stressed. Plant leaves edges are folding up and tops of plants especially new growth look a light green and are droopy looking ... Here's my flower set up 3000 watt hps sealed with co2. The hoods are vented. I also have three fans moving air. I am 35 inches from light. My temp is 83 which I know is high but I can't get my temps any lower than that untill I buy a mini split which I cannot afford for another two months. So for now it will have to do. I'm growing in coco 7 gallon pots.Ph 5.8 humidity 45 percent I'll post some pics I just took when lights went off. Is it light stress? Heat?? I noticed roots poking out of pots root bound? Just let me know if I left anything out thanks guys. I'm a newb so please forgive my ignorance. Just trying to grow some good medsimage.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I usually strip all the bottom branches so the girls can focus all its energy into production at the top colas. You ask how high? Any branches that does not get light penetrating them is what I suggest.

Thanks. But can anyone help with the leaf cupping ??? It started as soon as I put them in there new lights. so I have to assume its either heat or light. My light is already pretty high almost three feet.

They leaf cup in too high temps to try and trap mousture as there is none in the air.

no humidifier in flower, you want to be as dry as possible. The dryer the room the stickier the buds. You just need to water more bc you are root bound, hence the droop. Your temps are fine. I would repot asap

Great. I figured 7 gal pot was big enough! I wasn't planing on getting larger pots What size should I goto? And do I absolutely need to repot???

Buddy you went from 400w to 3,000w...too much too fast, I would recommend backing off some of that wattage and increasing it SLOWLY...you plants are getting sunburnt, so to speak....

ahhhhhh...you are running co2....? at what rate is the co2 dispersement?
I'm not sure what rate it is at because I'm clearly a noob it comes on 3 times during the lights on for a half an hour and the ball sits at 6. Tomorrow my co2 meter should be here. Because my room is sealed I didn't want to leave it with nothing so I figures turning it on half way.... I'll be able to read the ppm tomorrow afternoon

I think your right The tops of my plants look light green today kinda bleached I guess... So my lights don't have any dimmers. And I can't raise them because there already hitting the ceiling.... So what do you recommend???? Maybe shutting one off and sliding the plants away from the light I have plenty of room.

So I just moved them about three feet from the center of the lights and shut off the one in the middle. See how they look in the morning over the next few days and then I'll slide them Over a little at a time

I
YOu might want to research co2 and temps. :hump:
I actually did. I know I should keep it at 1500 and the calculator for 1000 square foot room told me to let my gage goto 20 three times a day... That's where I get confused. There's no 20 on my gage. So I figured once I get my co2 meter tomorrow I'll be able to tweak it.... And from what I hear I can let my temps goto 82 with co2 .... Does any of this sound right??? Today I managed to get my temp down really low so i put it at 77 for now due to my stress issues and I'll take it from there. Foes any of this sound right to you?

CO2 makes your plants tolerate higher temperatures.. if you are @ 83 F you should be fine. how close r your lights though? light burn can make leaves curl upwards like a backwards ram's horn

Higher levels of CO2 emit in the atmousphere when its hot. The hotter, the more co2, the cooler it is , less co2. So I'm wonerding if you are getting droop bc of the lack of heat when running co2. Thats why I recommended learning more about it
