I need to vent a little and maybe get a few opinions on my plan which is like plan C or D, but i may be setting myself up for a plan F as in Fail.
On a good note i will be talking about bud anyway. On a bad note it is bud rot which is my enemy at this time of the year every year.
Humidity has been bad as usual and i found 2 big tops with bud rot and i clipped them off and got rid of them. 2 days later another nice top bites the dust. The dehumidifier is putting off too much eat to bring down the r/h enough and an a/c isn't going to happen until next year. I expect to lose some every year due to heat and humidity until i can get it under control. so this is on me and i live with it for now.
I decided to chop after week 8 instead of the usual 9 weeks. A little more than half are ready and the rest need the extra week but will still be ok. Saturday i took all the big fans off and anything that could be an issue in between the buds that are growing tight together. Then lights off until Sunday and trim and hang. I am a big fan of wet trimming and love the finished product.
I got called into work on Sunday and could not chop and i work all week. So now i have a room full of stalks with buds and sugar leaves and a hell of a lot of light penetration. lol
i did raise the light all the way up to keep the heat away from the tops.
The plan now is to trim and chop on fri. or sat., continue with 12/12 lighting and only water enough to keep them alive. With all the fan leaves gone, they are not drinking as much but they are getting much more air circulation. If worse comes to worse i can just chop and trim later.
Thanks for taking the time to read my book i didn't realize it would be this long and 2 margaritas later here i am. Thanks in advance ADT for letting me jack your thread but i would rather have opinions from friends from here where i read their posts every day.
