i recently got into mercedes by accident, and. i drove a 550-hp CLS63 AMG yesterday.. thing is way bad ass.. had carbon ceramic brakes, and stopped harder then it went, which was like a bat out of hell...
never been a big merc guy, but holy hell, they make some really nice rides.. also drove a amg i think a g class, i'll let you know in a few, a big truck.. turned the key, and the rumble from it was bad ass.

first up, the cls.. thing sounds so friggin mean..


the second was a g63, it's an suv kind of, and i hate suv's, but omfg, this thing is bad ass.. again, biturbo, and so throaty..

yeah, it's pretty sick.. like i said, i got on the cls, and when i went to hit the brakes to slow down, the damn things almost throw me into the wind shield. the g's were so hard i could hardly even lift me leg to take it off of the brakes.. i've experienced acceleration plenty before, as i'm sure most have, but this is the first time i've ever found myself commenting on how hard a car braked before, lol..
also not really a fan of paddle shifters, they are a 4 speed auto, or a 7 speed semi auto, with the paddle shifters.. on the right you drop it down to first, and away you go.. but if you're turning a corner of w/e, the paddles are now upside down and shit and it made it very hard to figure out wtf i was doing tbh, and was just generally awkward imo.. maybe if they were attached to the column and not the wheel i'd dig it more...

so, what's everyone think of this whole tony stewart fiasco? do you think he meant to scare the dude by getting close to him, and maybe even bump him with the car, or was the entire thing a horrible accident?
one thing is for sure though, never a good idea to get out of your car after you've been in an accident on a live track.. :(

From the bit of the vid i saw it looked like the driver tried moving left slightly but had a car on the inside of him so had to keep his course and the bloke on the track kept walking towards the car an walked into the wheelbase of the car

yeah, i guess it's the same video i saw, but the angle is weird, and it's kind of hard to make out what all happened.. was just curious what others thought is all..

the thing is it only looked like he bumped the dude.. the first time i saw the video, i didn't know the dude died, and after i found out he did die, i watched it again, and still can't believe that lil hit was enough to kill him.. i wonder if he wasn't seriously injured in the accident, and jumped out of the car all full of adrenaline but close to being dead?

nah according to eyewitnesses that were at the track apparwently the wheel of the car went over, and wheelspun all over his body.chest and then neck and head,

We all know what kind of guy Stewart is,he'd never admit it but in the heat of the moment I do believe he was trying to scare the dude and a terrible accident happened.
Kevin Ward should have never gotten out of his car!...much less stood in the middle of the track!The race was still under caution.Stewart sucks on the dirt!Imo..He should not be allowed back in a sprintcar!
That shit was accidentally on purpose;)
