Mandala seeds satori grow

I'll likely be taking more pics tonight during water and posting tomorrow. She is changing every day. I have some pics from a couple days ago and based on Odin's new, clearer pictures my Satori is not as far behind as I had thought resin wise - I'm getting more resin production below the main tops then I am on the tops themselves. This may be due to the height of my lights (2.5 feet off the floor with 1.5 foot plants) even though temps are consistently less then 81 degree F. To be clear the image labeled "LemLom" is not a Satori, it is what Satori is competing against in my garden. You probably understand my concern now huh? lol. Take it easy guys. :peace:

I would be v.careful fertilizing Satori. I hear she is prolly THE most nute sensitive strain Mandala has. I'm going to run mine with rich soil and no nutrients - unless she asks me for some. I ran their Safari Mix with zero problems in soil, using only water :joint: That being said, your Satori looks nice & healthy. Keep us updated :-)
Yea, I remember reading that too. I don't use nutrients very often with my current methods, probably a good thing. Instead of using something as "hot" as Super soil in my pots, I use "enriched soil". What I mean is I take Happy Frog + Sunshine Mix and amend it with all organics, while going easy on the guanos. Rock phosphate, greensand, glacial rock dust, eggshell powder, lime, diatomaceous earth, bone meal, kelp meal, homemade worm castings these are my main ingredients (had to put homemade in there ). I plant directly into this mix and there is no "cook time." No burn yet and my girls love it. Nutes have been primarily teas, molasses, microbe brew :o and during veg, B1 and Neem. My guanos are sunleaves and FF. I'm working on removing the guano, bone meal, etc from my line up in favor of becoming more veganic but while its here...! :leaf: I'm also trying something new tonight, I'll be mixing guano with hot water and using that as per Soma's recommendations. Wish me luck. :peace:

Allen ! Dude :o - Much Kudos to Your grow. With ALL those soil amendments any cannabis plant would be in canna-bilss ! - I only use decade-old compost with fish emulsion waterings in veg and all my strains thrive without needing anything else. My outdoor is practically on "auto-grow", i just use pure h2o on them and they are staying very healthy and budding nicely. I brushed up agains my fastest Lemon Kush, and no lemon smell (yet) but the KUSH SMELL ... ohhh YEAHH :-P - Classic Hind Kush smell I fell in love with over a decade ago. Can't Wait :bigjoint:

Just thought I'd update. Found out a few nights ago that my room was getting up to a high of at least 89 degrees after my late night fans take a break. I woke up at about 2am and noticed this. So, since about a week ago when I changed the fan schedule, my room was getting pretty warm for about 4 hours a night. I've since remedied the problem, but I thought the information was pertinent to our grow here. Take care guys. :peace:

Week 6 and 7 of Satori #1 and #2. Pretty much the same these past couple of weeks. The orange smell has gotten stronger and is now accented by a fuel - rotten fruit kind of odor. Resin production is still nothing special. New pistils continue to develop. Clearly the longer flowering phenotype for both of my girls with one being slightly easier to maintain and having slightly higher resin production. The cuttings are stinky as hell and I can't wait to grow them out. :weed:
The first pic is of Satori #1 @ 7 weeks flower and the last two are of Satori #2 just shy of 6 weeks flower. :peace:

Girls are starting to trich up. Pics up in a few days. Checked them last night and trich coverage has started climbing. I'm Psyched. I was seriously worried they were both going to bitch out on me. Good girls. <3 <3 :D:D

Pics are labeled. Plants are good. No problems. Fragrance profile is different between the two. Satori#1 is giving me a sour, chem-diesel smell and #2 is sticking with the sour, citrus smell. Temps are steadily getting lower on account of seasonal changes going on outside (Intake) giving me steady 75-77 degree F readings. Trichs are gradually piling up. Slow and steady wins the race lol. :peace:

Here we have three different Satori clones. All are in the same soil mixture, the same environment etc, etc. All three have been under 14/10 for the same 10-14 days now. One is from Odin and the other two are my own. I just wanted to point out the differences.
In the first (2) image, three clones can be seen and from left to right are my Satori #2, Odin's Satori and my Satori #1.
You can see that that Satori #2 is much more Indica in its growth structure then either of the others, exhibiting stocky growth with minimal outward branching. She is also complimented by a pleasant chocolate-skunk odor and has not responded much to the 14/10 as of yet.
Odin's Satori, next is starting to flower under the aforementioned 14/10, has more outward branching then the first and up until these past couple of days has had a stronger chocolate-skunk odor similar to my Satori #2.
Satori #1 or third in the picture is clearly more sativa then either of the others but not much more so then Odin's Satori. She is also low odor, only rewarding me with a taste when I rub her stem and has not responded to the 14/10 much either - though more then Satori #2. I should note the difference in coloration in the leaves again - #1 and #2 display lighter green by comparison to Odin's Satori which could be another reflection of respective Sativa and Indica expression. Enjoy.
Also, we did get a smoke report on Odin's Satori but I'll let him post that (If he doesn't I will) Take care guys. :peace:

i am very interested in this strain..has any one did a full blown outdoor grow with it..i want to try it in the greenhouse...open root way...no pots ...and if you did what was the floweing time in weeks...i have heard so much about this great strain...but most were indoor grows...also whats the size of the plant and also how well does it produce...not that that matter...but helps when planning floor space in greenhouse...like C99 they will bush out to over 6 feet across...and also amnesia haze...wicked lateral growth...

We haven't finished yet. Odin's is getting there and mine will be another few weeks. Depending on the pheno, I think they would make great outdoor plants. The Satori that is flowering on 14/10 would be my first choice.

Quick update : Since my last post, all three Satori clones are now in flower. I switched the lights to 14.75 the night I took the pics of the cuttings (let's hope that holds them :finger:) so it's clear the change had already started in the clones that hadn't shown a transition to flower. Kind of bummed because I had literally just made the hard decision of growing out my plants that were already started (clones) instead of wasting time with any of my seeds (yet). Psyched to be starting some new strains though. :D:D
