Skunk #1 150WHPS. flowering 3weeks.

Hy everyone.

Im on my 3rd grow.
my 150W hps seems to be good. Im growin 2 Skunk#1 in 6l pots. Im in the end of 3rd week of flowering.They are 59 and 70cm tall. I defoliated them a litle bit like 1 week ago and today I flushed them. I have some pics. Please take a look and say ur opinion. I have some questions. Like I could a litle bit lst for better light penetration. Like pull the branches with some wood poles? This would stress them ?

hey yeah get some twine or thin rope and tie evry arm down thell bend quite a bit.... youll be very impressed with the rusults also leave the folige on for now you still got 4+ weeks most likley so go tie em down asap and feed them girls

put ur 400 watt 7 in from the canopy after u levle it out by pulling all the arms a foot or two down and toos a osdsilting fan over the canopy ..... your buds will be much denser and 20% more yeild

U should most def LST if the stems are not too brittle. with a 150 U want an even canopy and the light as close to the plants as possible. I was able to get away with a 150w hps 6 inches from the plants using lst. Plus it can only help with yields and density.Either tie them down or leave them grow just trim off all the lowers

They look awesome! It won't stress them. They'll be fine. I am wondering, if you want more light penetration what would happen if you made a circle shape out of a metal coat hanger and placed it in the center of the plant to spread the branches? I have been considering this for my own plants.

What can't figure out is how you got them to grow the exact shape of the square containers :)
I'm a 150 w grower also. I run two. One for each plant.
I went ahead and tried the ring idea. works fine. I used a few twist ties to keep it in place.

Yea thx for the idea sunny. But I think now its to late to put the ring. Maybe this would stress them...Im just waiting lets see whats gonna happen after the flush..

i got one love too its these plants lol ,, and its well worth it instead of like suppercropping where u crack the steam a lil with lst it "low" strees all u gota do it go a node below on ur arms nd tops with thing rope / w.e ... pull em down all even as you can they shouldn't be pushed to snapping thell bend a 180 degrees if u take ur time bending it all thu the arm not just in the spot where its tied ... you catch that and i broke my first suppercroppin try and i found lst is much better for my girls ... take a pic and ill direct u buddy it will make you dream about thr nug on her while ur sleeping! wish i had old grow pics :/ im 20 and got 4 yrs down lat is my perfferd method atm

If i were going to lst them that late i would wait til after watering. 30 Minutes or more after the stems are more pliable. You don't have to do it all in one go either. You can bend em down. Wait a couple days and then bend them more until you're satisfied.

Awesome ladies ! I have some seeds of that strain that I was gonna grow under CFL's but am going to order a 250 watt HPS system . Glad I stumbled onto this grow...great job !! :-D

The 250 w sun systems is a good little setup. Way better than cfl I think. Heat can be a little bit of an issue since there is no way to vent this lamp, but now that we're coming into fall it will be easier to keep your ambient temp low.

I was flushing him sometimes in Vegetation Sativa. This will increase the growth they say. The bigger plant was always flushed the smaller one not. both were Fimmed. The flushed plant will much more bud. Im impressed what will happen in the next 2 weels- I`ll come with some upgrade pics.
