I think the deckhand doing the filleting, sells the heads to Asian's......just a little more money for the crew....

not if done right manta , got to put them in the center of the pile . besides farms are composting dead livestock in old corn silage and spreading it back onto the fields takes about a year for a cow to breakdown .

I kinda cheat and I only go when a salmon run is on......the salmon are on their way into the bay & up the rivers to spawn. They school up out in the pacific this time of year and move thru in runs that can last 1 to 2 weeks. They may be catching limits (2) one week and (0) the next. I watch the fish reports and pounce when the time is right.....
