I don't think that they are cowards for only expressing their racism through the anonymity of the Internet.theres plenty of racists from what ive seen.most of them are only openly racist online, because they are cowards in the real world.most racist ppl i have met are idiots, and know nothing about the history of those they discriminate against.they often also try to turn the blame onto those they discriminate against.for example, they are already trying to blame that unarmed black boy for getting shot dead by that coward police officer,it was somehow that black boys fault in their minds...but when their white loved ones are having life saving open heart surgery, remember it was a black man who first successfully performed open heart surgery, and it was a black man who invented Improved electrical resistor, and a control unit for pacemakers, and it was a black man who invented refrigeration systems,it was a black man who invented the Imaging X-Ray Spectrometer.it was a black man who invented the long life light bulb.a black man invented the gas mask.a black woman invented A form of eye surgery using lasers...i mean the list goes on and on eventhough black ppl for a long time didnt have access to the same resources as white ppl.
Expressing racism in one's daily life can cause the loss of a job and other severe harm.
They are no more cowards for that than are the homosexuals who remain in the closet because their boss might fire them if they knew they were gay.
Or the atheist who keeps his mouth shut about it for the same or similar reasons.
Those who would fire homosexuals, atheists or racists are the cowards for not having the courage to accept people for who they are.
If we must accept and treat as equals people no matter who they love, what they believe, and whom they dislike.
If gays can love who love, then the racist should be able to not love who they wish to not love.
