Well I don't like to argue, but I do like to make my point and it does matter who what were and why...I understand some people have restrictions on their grows and 12/12 will not take up as much room as a veg room will...

Like I said I tried it (Vortex) and it wasn't what I was looking for so I believe in some veg time plus some LST'ing if height is an issue .

Just started the 6th day of flowering, just wanna know what you think.. shes looking pretty good to me but dont want to jump the gun.. aslo is it possible to predict how much she will yield? i know its hard to judge from the 1 photo.. internodes are about 5 inches apart since flowering.

sorry mate you flowered too early, I would put her back in veg for 2-3 weeks more and flower again and you will pull a lot higher yield

what light you got her under ?

yer you can flower from seed and gets some large crops but its down to the strain and getting the right plants at the time

I do have a perpetual grow and I do have separate rooms for veg and flower, but when your talking about time and energy wasted, not to mention small yields, IMHO it's better to veg, cause you're not getting this with 12/12 from bean......

I'm not arguing that a veg period isn't good. But the OP grows 12/12, so maybe that's his deal, maybe he has reasons for growing 12/12. Hell, a nice California outdoor "tree grow" blows away any indoor grow hands down. But obviously he doesn't have that luxury.

Well, I beg to differ...until your plants nodes start to stagger, which can take up to 2 months to start, it will be vegging, the term vegging is just another way of saying it has to reach maturity, or go through puberty so to speak, so it is vegging for that time.

IMO if any weed is grown right it will stink and I found Northern Lights #5 X Haze Oder level to be average

I like the Northern Lights from Sensi Seeds as the oder level is low but you do need a few weeks in veg

most sativa strains flower for a lot longer than indica strains

indica strains may flower for 50-60 days and veg for 20-30 as they don't grow much in flower

sativa strains can flower for 70-100 days plus with no veg time from 12/12 as they veg and flower under 12/12

Wow, that's all I can say...thanks for that info I appreciate it...but at 47, and with 2 masters, I think I know how to look up info...and if I didn't know that already...I'd be the one asking questions...no offense man I think it's great you know that, but obviously it should have been directed to another person...but the last part...."sativa strains can flower for 70-100 days plus with no veg time" ...ALL MJ plants have a veg time, even a ruderalis (auto flower) has a veg time....so you might wanna read some more, or do like I do and "grow" every strain you can get your hands on and then make notes of all your findings...and BTW...I have some sativas, I grow them outdoors though and my indicas indoors...

I've never understood that here. There seems to be a lot of folks who go straight to 12-12 from seed or flip them a week or 2 from sprouting. That just CAN'T yield much of any kind of harvest.

I think those folks have more plants.Having More smaller plants vs fewer larger plants seems to be the standing argument people have. I say if u have room for one plant let it veg out and train its growth it to get max yield
