ISIS UNCOVERS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION IN IRAQ

President Obama is currently meeting privately with his cabinet to discuss the news from Iraq that ISIS has discovered scores of Weapons of Mass Destruction that Saddam Hussein had hidden before the start of the US Invasion in 2003. The UN security council is scheduled to meet for an emergency session.
Buried in various spider holes and underground bunkers, the WMD stores were found in areas east, west, south and north around Tikrit and Baghdad. The existence of the WMD stores, unknown since 2003, have now become known. Now, known unknowns include ISIS’ specific plans for the WMDs and the expediency with which they will rain death on what they consider western infidel regimes.
i'll believe when i see it.

you dont believe what?

that obama is meeting with the cabinet in secret? (admittedly dubious, since it's hard to have a secret meeting on the 11th hole at the Greenbriar...)

that the UN security council is gonna meet? (also dubious since theres no way to blame israel for this shit)

that iraq was full of chemical and biological weapons stashed around the country by saddam in his endless game of Marco Polo with Hans Blix? (check your wikileaks, they are replete with examples of saddam's "nonexistent" wmd's being found and disposed of after the second iraq invasion)

or that ISIS could muster up the brainpower to handle this shit without snuffing themselves? (true dat)

On June 21, 2006 the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence released key points from a classified report from the National Ground Intelligence Center on the recovery of a small number of degraded chemical munitions in Iraq. The report stated that "Coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent." All are thought to be pre-Gulf War munitions.

These munitions meet the technical definition of weapons of mass destruction, according to the commander of the National Ground Intelligence Center. "These are chemical weapons as defined under the Chemical Weapons Convention, and yes ... they do constitute weapons of mass destruction," Army Col. John Chu told the House Armed Services Committee. The munitions addressed in the report were produced in the 1980s, according to Army Lt. Gen. Michael D. Maples. Badly corroded, they could not currently be used as originally intended, though agent remaining in the weapons would be very valuable to terrorists and insurgents, Maples said.
He still managed to be wrong though when he used this as a jab at what he calls the left and in defense of Dubya. If we had left Saddam to rule his shit hole with an iron fist, these weapons would never have fallen into such hands.

Fuck Isis, we will borrow all the money in China and give it to all of Dick Cheney's buddies to build more seriously expensive weapons and very carefully kill some of the bad guys and some people just trying to make a life in that crappy little shit box of a country. Then we will give the country back again to some trumped up ridicules half assed government that we helped form.

Then we will buy some oil from them and you will be happy that you are only paying $6 a gallon for gas because it was $9 a gallon a week ago.....

sound vaguely familiar?

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

cuzz saddam wouldnt sell these things. nope he was such a straight up cat, so honest and compassionate and wise, he wouldnt risk this shit falling into the hands of those who might use them against his moslem brothers (like say, iran) or innocent children (like say, the kurds).

yep saddam was the real force for peace in the middle east.

maybe we should dig him up, sew his head back on and prop him back up in one of his palaces and let Zombie Saddam sort out the ISIS issue.

Most Iraqis disagree, although I will admit that from an American perspective we need some sort of murderous dictator in there.
unfortunately, you cant win for losin.

if the us props up another tin pot tyrant, we are "supporting evil" much like they claim when the US supported assad in syria, the lesser of a great many evils, mobarak in egypt, the devil you know, or the palahvi regime in iran, an asshole sure, but an asshole who was turning that country from shithole to toilet, slowly but surely.

if we support the populist upstart, we are supporting the dickhead who will certainly turn on us soon.

if we do nothing, we are "enabling" the populist demagogue, the tin pot dictator, or the anarchy that comes when one or the other butchers his opposition.

if the west goes "Hands Off" in asia minor and north africa, then their lassiez faire solution will be a bloodbath, oil exports will dry up, the people will starve, and a new tin pot dictator will rise up and start doing shenanigans.

there is no solution as long as the left demands perfect solutions or total disengagement, and screams bloody murder if imperfect solutions are implemented, or the region is left to wallow in it's own crapulence

Yea ..we(U.S. Gov) put him there..his big mistake was when he went to the U.N (3 months before we invade) and got an OK to sell Iraq oil for other than the US dollar. You dont do that to the privately own Federal Reserve. Just ask Gaddafi....OH wait.
