Just wondering how my girls are doing

Hello all, I've been growing two plants from bag seed and they have been doing very well. They are in 5 gallon buckets with organic soil in them, which drain very well. One is just about 4 weeks into flowering and the other is just 2 weeks in. They have been on a watering schedule that has 2 alternating days between 1 tablespoon of molasses in a gallon of water and then 3 teaspoons of fox farm tiger bloom in a gallon of water the next day. I always water with about a gallon of clean water before putting in the mixture. I think I'm going to flush tomorrow just to give the soil a nice cleaning. Any tips that anyone has to offer or even any comments would be very much appreciated. IMG_4103.JPG IMG_4164.JPG IMG_4168.JPG IMG_4180.JPG IMG_4194.JPG IMG_4197.JPG IMG_4208.JPG

Looks yummy.

I could make a few suggestions based on your post.

A schedule like WaterWaterWaterFeed will be more suited for the plants and only water after sticking your finger in up to your first knuckle and its dry. So that schedule may take 1 -1.5 weeks before you cycle again. (unless their thirsty girls then it will cycle quicker) Also you want about 1/4- 1/3 of what you pour into the plant to run out the bottom so a gallon per time may not be enough for 5 gallon bucket.

These are just some small tweaks to get you to the average yield as they call it.

I dunno bout that. He's already got a bit of yellowing in the fan leaves, I really wouldn't suggest cutting back on the feeding. His current system is working pretty stellar, no real reason to screw with it ya know?

Marvelous! Great work so far ^5 Love the rooftop grow too, schweet :bigjoint:

Yeah, agree with Ace above :hump: I would suggest feeding them with food that has a decent level of N in it for a few more weeks.

Good Luck :peace:

Well there's two adjustments need there but I wasn't going to go the route of telling him to use more nutes. That typically gets the heavy hand response ending in bad results.

A more often water over food system is best but you're correct his one bottle of bloom is not enough. There are other nutrients and minerals he should be subsidizing as well.

At the least OP take it as information to play with and tweak to your style next time around. :weed:

Thanks; I didn't see the bottom part for a minute and it kinda freaked me out, haha.

Just out of curiosity, is there any way to predict the final yield of these plants? I know it's hard(or even impossible) to guess because the strain is unknown... but I thought it might be worth asking at least.

About a pound.... sorry, someone had to say it first. But really, if I am judging the height of those plants correctly (Which is hard because I've never used a chimney for scale before) I'd put them at what, about 4' tall with the bucket? Hard to say until they fill out but my first guess would be around 3-4 oz per plant, could be more if they really bulk up. I could be way off but that's what my gut says.

I've actually only did a sort of flush today.... with about a gallon and a half of clean water to both of them and then I split a gallon of molasses water between them

Hello everyone, the bigger plant has recently had a bunch of yellowing of it's leaves. I was just wondering if this is normal flowering yellowing or some type of deficiency that I need to correct. I was just worried because the yellowing on the other plant had none of these brown spots on them... Any advice welcome
