How to swell buds?

For some reason the phrase "if you have to ask big man, you can't afford it" (beerfest) comes to mind.

There is no magical fix to make bigger buds. New growers do not understand this due to a lack of experience and understanding. You can't simply give it double the amount of nutes and get bigger buds. Hardware, genetics, environment, nutrients, being able to read your plants, etc etc etc etc etc. These are not simply things you wake up in the morning and do, it takes time, a lot of time, and a lot of learning. Based on your time frame for harvest, i'd say you're very new to this, so just focus on growing a plant, forget about magical yields and mason jars of weed, just focus on getting to harvest no matter its yield.

Take a poop...weigh the poop....topdress soil by mixing poop thouroghly in the top layer of soil....

Buds will weigh 2x the amount of poop you mixed in.....

Just kiddin'....give it time like previous posters said....should put some weight on in the 4 to 7 week range I would agree.

I did tell the guy. Maybe you can't read. There is no secret tip to getting bigger buds, it is a variety of factors that you can't simply wake up the next day and implement. They take time, money, and experience. there is a big difference between asking say, "how should i use teas" to "how do i feed plants". Or basically, the difference between asking a specific question as opposed to asking a vague "tell me everything" question. I'll tell a grower how to adjust ppm, i won't tell them how to grow.

And there can be everything wrong with jumping the experience ladder, hence phrases like you don't run before you can walk, but i wouldn't have thought someone like you would understand that ;)

I'd say don't overwater....I like to wait till it gets pretty dry before watering...but not too much if you are going organic.....if not organic don't be afraid to push the dry limit.....I've noticed an noticeable increase in trichs by doing this...not sure if it has any merit....

Other than that make sure your plant gets a nice variety of nutrients or ammendments. But, don't overdo it....start small doses at first always.

IS THIS TRUE??

Final 48 hours – You can further flush the nutrients and unwanted sugars from your flowering weed by turning out all light. The plant will utilize the sugars already produced during photosynthesis to continue to swell the budding points.

You got it twisted a little, it's suppose to cause more trichome production. BY the time you get to the last week of a flowering the swelling is finished and this is where the crystallization of the bud really takes place. IMO

Wanted to add I tried and did not notice any difference.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep at it. But a person who doesn't ask doesn't learn. Now my biggest issues is the youngest/smaller plant is stretching more and more everyday.
