They all look like my gf. Just never heard there was a term for it. She'll laugh her ass off when she hears the name.

She's had hers for years before it became a thing, so she always rolls her eyes at the emo and douchey 20 something millennials that are doing it to conform.

Young people, angsty teens, people like @mainliner - THOSE are the emo's.

Someone getting 1/3 of their body covered in tattoos and have 20 piercings, I think they might be in it for the long haul.

Your GF sounds hot - maybe SHE would want to be a suicide girl...

This has been "a thing" for quite a while now. And it's still not a majority thing, so it doesn't count as "conforming."

Although you won't see me complain if black nails, face metal and elaborate ink, become standard.

I am not one, so I wouldn't know.

I have to assume they must make some money doing it?

Who knows.

I really don't think any of the suicide girls went out and got all these body mods JUST so they could put their pictures on the inter web.

I assume, like your girl, they looked like that first.
