selling the extra?

So i've been wondering what people do when they have 5 or more plants or just high yields. do you guys sell it? i live in a medium sized college town (which im a student of). I have 5 skunk plants with too much for personal consumption. I was wondering if i sell some to close friends or just ppl i trust how much to charge.

In my opinion, there is never extra herb. Just bud I haven't smoked yet! Even if you have more than you need right now, you may as well hang on to it. What if you have a bad harvest, what if your whole grow takes a nose dive, etc, etc. Just hang on to it and call it your just in case weed.

yea keep it...i mean cook brownies and have you friends over...they dont have to know where it came from. Theres a ton of stuff you can make with it if you just have to much....if you sell you open a flood gate, all of a sudden you have people calling you...or you have a friend that is in a pinch and they say where they got it from...

Selling leads to trouble ppl talk. It might not go around that you grow but it will that you have dank nuggies, its unneeded risk when you are already doin something risky.
Cook up some ganja butter and make a ferast if you don't want it lying around your house.

I believe this is a loaded question and you are looking for pricing hints, if not then my opinion is dont sell a thing. The moment you become a dealer, is the moment you come closer to being a prisoner. At the end of the day you are probably a toker and every day you dont pay another person for your smoke is a day you remain at liberty. Grow for yourself remain quiet and save money.

Same as dealer will tell you you can't be a seller if you're going to be a user, I'll tell you that you can't be seller if you're a grower... So my suggestion is figure out who you'd like to be and go from there... check out the link attached and pay close attention to numbers 4 & 5 they most definitely apply... I think I read someone tell you to keep it in the fam thats a gem you may want to pay attention to as well...

I don't get this "extra" thing at all. How could something you have yet to consume be "extra". You have a quit date in mind?
Like saying you have "exra" air to breathe.

He probably smokes 'x' amount per week and worked out that by his next crop he would have 'y' left over. Truthfully though I think he just wants up to date price info!

Selling around town not a great idea. However there are many things you can do...have 1 trusted friend from out of town pick it up from you and now he's the dealer you just had to deal with 1 bulk deal. Or go to a jam band festival/any hippie show with a parking lot. Walk around you will get rid of everything anonymously or you will run into an undercover cop and be in jail (not likely at a festival parking lot I dont know).

But next time just dont grow 5 plants? I personally don't sell anything just give some of your prize to people in the family. But if you go around trying to sell an 1/8th at a time you will be getting phone calls at 3am every weekend. Do one bulk deal and its over with...realize there is a lot of risk in that though.

If i was starving,homeless & on foot i would not sell 1 gram of anything,where i live the government just drools in anticipation of their next assett seizure,i give my extra away to my brother & 2 very close friends,plus me & the wife are very wastefull with it.

thanks for the info guys. i know selling is risky and id never want to grow just for the purpose of selling it. i room with my cousin (female) who isnt on the same level as me so i keep my whole op on the down low. im the only one who knows about it besides ppl on here. so that alone tells you how cautious i already am. but for storage do jars actually preserve it for long periods of time? because im only curious about selling it so it doesnt go to waste. i only smoke when i have a day off from work or late night kickbacks. so thats what i meant by extra. it would take me a while to go through 3-5 oz's. thanks for your quick posts guys
