now I do a dome.. and I write on the dome.. 1-12 rows.. and then in a notebook.. ill right.. rows 1 and 2 this strain.. this many clones.. .. harder to fuck up lol.. but can be fucked up.. but when ur doing 150-300 clones at a shot.. labeling each individual clone.. takes to much time.. lol.. especially during a pheno hunt.. were I have 30 seed plants.. of diff crosses.. that I need to keep labeled for round 2 and 3 so I can see if the keepers I liked are actually keepers.. lol
my last resort beans.. are my KC Brains packs.. that ive had for years now.. after I popped 3 packs.. 3 strains.. the rest of the strains have been put to the side.. after hermis destroyed lots of bud.. I said no more KC BRAINS will be in my garden.. his old gear was amazing. but the new stuff SUCKS

That sucks. Nothing worse than a bunch of hermdogs messing up your bumper crop. Did you ever try his Leda Uno? That's his only strain I've ever really found appealing. I saw someone make a post not too long ago praising it in one of those "most underrated" threads.

Some pretty shitty seeds there. lol. Wouldn't mind growing out the African Buzz though, but probably won't due to the looong flower time. Mostly freebies except the Big Bang and Brains Choice...they were from my first ever seed buy before I had any idea. Pretty embarrassing, but whatever.
Currently running Bubba Love from Alphakronik and Papaya from Nirvana, clones. And just ordered some Critical Sensi Star. Interestingly, I saw the CSS was on a couple of people last resort list. I personally loved it. I got a single freebie and it was fantastic. Decided to buy a pack to search for that pheno.
EDIT: I also bought the Caramalla but my interest has moved on. Probably won't see the light of day, if you will.

Cotton Candy indoors grew well for me but just didn't pack a punch.
CORRECTION: Purple Paralysis grew well and was mediocre smoke, but it apparently has the same lineage of PPP x something, can't really remember.
It's got mad bag appeal and smells nice though. I'd smoke it in the middle of the day thougb bc it was so hard to over medicate

Have a few that need to be run before. Have found that popping more then one is a better idea because, if the seeds are a poly hybrid, the differences can be all over the place. If they are an F1, better chance of consistantcy, so don't need to pop as many and if they are a stable strain you might be able to pop one and have an idea of what you got... But honestly how often are stable strains the case? lol
Did seem to find a Akorn free promo that looks to be forming solid buds with good crystal coverage. TH seeds akorn has been known to have rare gems from years back supposedly.
Is it just a skunk hybrid with average effect? Anyone try it? Should be a more consistant and stable strain.

I've got a Cheese Candy from Delicious Se-eds that just passed 8 weeks that looks fantastic. Probably take her at 9.
BTW - isn't Freedon Haze a fem bean? I got a couple freebies when I ordered a pack of their CheeseDom.

Yea it very well might be. I was just going from memory... When I first wrote thr post I listed the WWxSkunk as fem before realising it. so yeah, Im probably mistaken.

Yes, at some point because I loved their CheeseDom, and because it's supposed to have a fast finish. I popped one a few months back as a back up, but culled it when all the target beans did well. But it was doing very well. Next time I'll make sure I can finish it.

Interesting. I grew Mighty Grape and wasnt happy with it in the slighest...it put me off wanting to grow anything else from them.
Just goes to show how much each persons experience can vary... in which case advice on "good" breeders should be taken with a grain of salt. Sorry, getting off topic.

Ive heard good things about the cotton candy but like you said it can vary depending on the grower....

I felt the same about Crit sensi star, I bought 2 packs of it because of a good freebie. I had good luck with cotton candy freebie, it was skunky and potent. Also bought cheese candy because of my good experience with delicious... My entire cali conn grow was shit and green crack was on the list, 1 of 6 made it to flower and it dont look special...

I am starting to realize that I need newb friendly strains so take my preference from a newb point of view. I am sure that I had some killer before and burnt it up. I guess that I should just say that cotton candy and crit. sensi star are good newb friendly strains.
Plus, I felt like the thread went dead after I chimed in!

My cheese candy is @ 8 1/2 wks with colas the size of a fist - and frosty. Might go longer than I'd like, but really looking forward to sampling it.As far as the thread dying, it's certainly not you. Most all threads run their course, and we kicked this one around quite a bit. Good luck on the cotton candy - sounds good.

I keep hearing that - good yield, weak sauce. I've got a freebie CC blue dream haze for a couple of years, and am dedicating a tent to running odds and end fems that have accumulated. Just popped CC green crack, WOS afghan/yumboldt, Vision blue power, and TH A-Train, w a DF blue hash as backup. I should be able to clear out the extra fems this year and have a continuous pot luck, of sorts.
