Why don't you wait until the FBI confirms the authenticity of the recording as without a source file CNN are just as clueless and state as much.
I still say shoot the looters. If they are all black, then chalk it up to statistical coincidence.

Nah i just don't buy into bullshit as easily as you do. The cop isn't zimmerman, the audio hasn't been verified, the lawyer would not confirm it's authenticity and the audio expert who CNN quoted isn't an audio expert, he has never stepped foot in a studio.
The lawyer didn't have it independently verified before handing it over to the FBI nor would she say if the recording in question was the ACTUAL SOURCE RECORDING.
Looking at frequency peaks in a spectral analyzer raises immediate and obvious questions.

Even if the audio is authenticated, it still doesn't prove anything.
IMO. we need to get the officers account of events, then perhaps the video could prove to be crucial.

If the suspect was charging the officer, after previously attacking the officer, the officer has the right to empty two magazines into him to stop the threat.
You seem to ignore the fact the guy was 6'1 and weighed over 300 pounds ... 9mm ain't gonna put him down easily.

A 6'1 300 pound guy WEARING FLIP FLOPS should be pretty fucking easy to hit if he is charging at you. In the fact every EYEwitness so far is saying the 6'1 300 pond guy WEARING FLIP FLOP was trying to run away stopped and put his hands up. I have yet to hear ONE EYEwitness say otherwise.
