Well, I haven't been getting much advice on what to do since the nute burn. I went ahead and switched to flowering on Saturday. I've been in veg for 4 weeks. I'm afraid I would get root bound if I let them veg much longer. I am thinking they have recovered, but it's going to be a interesting grow because my of screw up. The plants are not busy at all as much of the fan leaves on the first and second node are either dead and cut off or almost dead. All the tips look good though. It just seems like there's been hardly any vertical growth in 2 weeks. The first pic is of the AK and the second is Bubs. Any thoughts or advice is welcome.

I think you'll be ok - I'm guessing you haven't seen much vertical growth because the all of the plants energy will be concentrating on sorting the nute burn out. Now they've had time to recover and you have started flowering they should start getting high pretty fast. If you haven't already you might want to slowly giver her some nutes again but I would only start with 1/4 the recommended mix.

Day 48.

Man guys, I just don't know about this second grow. It's not going anything like I expected and I'm disappointed big time. I'm at day 48 since planting and I've been in flowering for 14 days now. The two pics are of the AK. It looks good I think, it's just so damn small. You can see the flowers starting to form especially on the main top. I have 4 other tops, but they are small. I figured the plant would be much taller by now, even with doing the LST. Last weekend I did 1/2 strength nutes and the plants were OK, so I will increase the nutes this tomorrow slightly. If there is anything you guys can think I can do let me know.

I think you used nutes too early. I'm on my first grow right now and I am struggling with not doing anything for my girls. Everywhere I read says not to feed nutes too early, usually aorund node 3, and to always start off at like quarter strength. From my research, it's what stunted your early growth. All I want is for them to grow up big and strong, and logic tells me to feed them more! Patience gets you further. I'm on day 7 since sprouting right now and I check on them like 10x a day wanting to see some growth. I need to stop being a helicopter parent. I Will be following yours and ganjas grows very closely, since I'm a fellow grow pro led. :-)

It's looking good.
It's small because you didn't let it veg and grow that long.
Does look better now tho
I let it veg for slightly over a month. I can only use a 1.3 gallon pot and from my research I would have got root bound if I veg'd too long. Heck, even the bio-bizz grow schedule has you only veg for 2 weeks. I did autoflowers on my previous grow and they were much bigger by this same time. I lost a lot of leaf mass due to my stupid nute burn. Ugh, not sure what I was thinking giving nutes that early. But it was week 3 when I did. I think I should have just did 1/4 strength and I would have been OK.

Thanks man and I agree. The nute burn was my problem. It just sucks cause I had really high expectations for this second grow.

Well everyone learns from their mistakes. Better luck next time. But Ay this grow might turn out better then you think. Just give it time.

Just for future reference Triplec...
The way all plants develop is that they grow a set of small round leaves before anything else. These leaves are called cotyledons and their job is to provide food until the root system has developed enough to be able to feed the plant directly.
In mediums like coco with zero added nutes, you can start feeding as soon as these cotyledons begin to wilt. In mediums like FF that contain added nutes, you use the wilting to begin counting down the 4 weeks that the nutes should last for and then you can start feeding yourself.

Something to be aware of on the BioBizz range of nutes: These are known to be deficient in calcium and magnesium when used for canna plants, so I'd suggest some reading up on issues relating to cal/mag deficiencies so that you recognize when to add it to the food.

Good luck with the grow.

Thanks for the info. I do have a bottle of calmag in my arsenal. Haven't used it yet though.

Thinking of just cutting my losses and completely scraping this grow. I got a the materials to finish my second box. Should have an new plant going by the weekend. I'm going to maybe give this current grow one or two more weeks and we'll see I guess. Here's a pic of the cabinet I am going to convert. 28in H x 20in W x 10.5/11in D.

I haven't posted in a while. I've been getting the new grow cabinet done and getting the new AK48 and Northern Light Auto growing. The Bubbleicous Never did anything. It's either locked out or root bound. The first AK48 is making progress. That's one of the pictures. It's gonna be small and the buds probably won't be much. It's at day 75 now, I figure I got til about another 4 weeks or so. My new AK48 is doing great. It's about 3 weeks old and I've topped it and got it transplanted into the final pot.
