Went downstate several times since the high times cup looking at buildings and we've been running lots of scenarios through our heads.
When a few hundred people told us we need a location downstate, we started looking.
I went by this place tuesday night. Looks pretty fucking impressive. We have found a few options in flint/area, trying to gather money and thoughts ourselves. We booked tickets to the cannabusiness conference in vegas in 2-3 months that will go over the majority of the questions that i have before i'm reading to sign on a location. There's so much that you can do with that building and land, very nice find!

I have also been told to look downstate in a friendlier county. I'm looking at a similar 10,000 sqft bank building that that is going up for auction in september. Real estate goes very cheaply on this site, so it may be an excellent buy. What are the terms on the building you are looking at, and what are you ideas on the perfect place? Really looking to meet with the right people to partner with. Please pm

I've tried to find someone to ask particulars of at PNC, but not had luck finding anyone yet.

I go with master Bonsai on this one.
If I have my druthers I would rather deal with a FM, club or along those lines. Best for everyone's patients imho and Experience.

Best as I see it is a private club. That way everything from union to school can be easily accommodated. FM is a natural when u hav any 3 of us in one place.. ;)

If your contract was a part of the founding charter? Would it not be admissible as evidence?

I've always supported/preferred the safe transfer farmers market model over the brokerage model of a dispensary. I've argued that under MMMA an FM at least maintains the direct caregiver to patient and/or caregiver to caregiver transfer relationship required under the law, something a dispensary has always clearly lacked. Furthermore, the 100% markup of a dispensary over an FM is also problematic for our community and it's medicinal needs.

That said, HB 4271 will change these facts of the matter both codifying and protecting the brokerage model under new law wholly separate from the old archaic MMMA caregivers and patients will be left to survive under. Personally I do not believe a farmers market, especially one that allows medicating, will survive following passage of HB 4271 (April 2015?) and that's only the beginning of the writing on the wall ...

We are waiting for the Supreme Court to hear the appeal in the combined cases of Hartwick/Tuttle. The facts in both cases are very close. The COA again screwed the pooch and ruled with their wild imaginations to take alllll the teeth out of sec. 8, and to a degree, sec. 4. Both decisions are examples of irresponsible and fallacious jurisprudence. They pulled bullshit requirements straight out of their asses, demanding that caregivers are responsible to answer for a patient's use. http://brucealanblock.com/medical-marijuana-cases-forms/ I expect the SC to give them another thumping. Please note that questions regarding the admissibility of evidence are teed up. And no I don't know when to expect it, but am guessing it will happen within the next few weeks.

The Court will be hearing arguments as to:

(1) whether a defendant’s entitlement to immunity under § 4 of the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA), MCL 333.26421 et seq., is a question of law for the trial court to decide;

(2) whether factual disputes regarding § 4 immunity are to be resolved by the trial court;

(3) if so, whether the trial court’s finding of fact becomes an established fact that cannot be appealed;

(4) whether a defendant’s possession of a valid registry identification card establishes any presumption for purposes of § 4 or § 8;

(5) if not, what is a defendant’s evidentiary burden to establish immunity under § 4 or an affirmative defense under § 8;

(6) what role, if any, do the verification and confidentiality provisions in § 6 of the act play in establishing entitlement to immunity under § 4 or an affirmative defense under § 8; and

(7) whether the Court of Appeals erred in characterizing a qualifying patient’s physician as issuing a prescription for, or prescribing, marijuana.

(1) whether a registered qualifying patient under
the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA), MCL 333.26421 et seq., who makes
unlawful sales of marijuana to another patient to whom he is not connected through the
registration process, taints all aspects of his marijuana-related conduct, even that which is
otherwise permitted under the act;

(2) whether a defendant’s possession of a valid
registry identification card establishes any presumption for purposes of § 4 or § 8;

(3) if not, what is a defendant’s evidentiary burden to establish immunity under § 4 or an
affirmative defense under § 8; and

(4) what role, if any, do the verification and
confidentiality provisions in § 6 of the act play in establishing entitlement to immunity
under § 4 or an affirmative defense under § 8.

You couldn't be more right. Falling under an onerous tax and regulatory scheme over cannabis has never been my idea of fun. To keep prices affordable, maximize access, and provide some charity work for severely debilitated people with limited means strikes me much better.

And Nancy. Please understand that the documents I offer are in no way required, except by common sense and intelligence.

Ok you big 800lb gO-rIllA

--theres PLENTy of 'dispensaries' everywhere....

U know it....

--so legislation or not big balls and deep pockets and the right location will get you far here right now--

Never in the history of the plant has demand been so high

Ive waited 40yrs for this!

Dispensaries are not me.....period!

Co-ops and pts unions and collectives are oK w me-
...opportunities from the 'ground' up.....

-not everything trickles to the top couple jerks w egos and all the $$

...our 'law' has plenty of wiggle room if you structure it right
Its almost set up like a pyramid scheme

How else are all the lawyers telling the dispensary folks its 'oK' to keep going

We all know what 'full set of cards' means now......
-thanks to 3mA

A pts union or private co-op....or private collective

.....'private' safe meeting place
Is viable if you ask me.....

-the market dictates hundreds more 'clubs' will be opening once the new rules come online
(denver had over 1000in the beginning--800 in the 'city' of LA)

and you and i know the lawyers are working overtime all the time to $ee:shock: these 'provisioning' centers come online

--competition is good!

How many 'private' clubs u know....?
I know a couple......

Run it like a biker clubhous....or pts union hall
Grange hall for pharmers with all the privileges a grange brings

Sell shares to a coop....ill buy one

Sell 1000for 100$ each....?

folks are foaming for new venues and opportunities....i think most have had a taste of the 'dispensary' crowd

When they killed joE c. They tried to kill the fMs too....imo
--i always felt that was the point

Many a post i viewd of urs @the mCP site about toadies....
--in fact ive read 'every' post by u.....everytime---almost

whatever ur opinion i care not,...i do think ur sec8 stuff has merit

To a point

If you ask me sec8 is ALL we have for a 'law'[sic] here anyway.....

Same as we had before the law except now we have an opportunity to pay lawyers huge sums to try and prove that we use mj:leaf:for 'medical':lol:

And lots of folks have a lot more 'latitude'.....period!

But here now start something no one here has yet done-

They tried at g3 ....kinda if u ask me

U could make it better.....a new spot IS in order
A reAl 'pts "spot".....for pts BY pts.....

Each person helping each other with our 'medical' use-(:lol:)
[dont take the smiley face lightly....im laughing at the law]

Let 'terminal' pts FREE?...imagine that
A wheelchair fM--i know a few:o

And FREE cbd to pts that NEED it....not sell it to them

you will make $ off their friends and the service u provide

I hope Leyton stays with us-

....he has helped make flint and genesse co the emerald triangle of mich....

With Dtroit being the new ganster paradise w NO rUlEs

.....flint has a chance thru grass roots to be the new mecca in mich for pharmers AND pts

Pm me if u wanna sit and sMoKe.....i woRk lOtS but i'll maKe time

:peace::joint:

Jm2c--there i donated-:eyesmoke:

Hey buckaroo bonzai - what's the deal with dispensaries? In Canada they're mostly reliable and have the best quality if you don't want to go to the street. There aren't any co-ops that I know of but these are a great idea. I'd like to learn about the US situation.
