I don't know man... I'd ask them but all the plants that I've met aren't much for conversation. Plus I'm going to assume that just like people, each plant has its own favorite bands ;-)

Just curious plants have really sparkled up and been listening to lots of pink floyd lately nothing else but water.
Floyd were Psychoacoustic geniuses, don't put it past them, ever seen the 'Dark side of the Rainbow'?

If they don't, they're not worth finishing! (same as with people)

Speaking of which, i bet they'd love Echoes on repeat throughout their lifespan...

I've had a interest in music and plants for a long time,so last year I did a test and played Mozart on an old Mp3 player in the grow room from late germ to late veg(1 month) and was really impressed with the plants vigor, these babes in 4 inch pots were needing to be pot upped again by the 2nd week, and everything else was 'normal' temps ..soils,, lights etc etc, volume was low..as reading articles at the time suggested that the vibrations of the music would be seen by the plants as bird noise ...hence friendly ...I don't know it all, but theres definitively something in it

ps I hate goddammit Mozart!!!

I was thinking about the same thing A few days ago. With the same band actually. I was thinking that herb probably likes some good space rock. Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, The Flaming Lips, 13th Floor Elevators, Jefferson Airplane. You know the good spacey shit. I bet it makes the herb way more psychedelic lol idk. But I was pondering the same thing. I plugged an mp3 player into my amp and been letting the plants enjoy some quality Darkside of the moon.

Interesting thought process, I would love to be able to run that side by side for a test.

I've been checking this shit out years ago, back in the 1970 a dude attached a lie detector(1970's lie machine...lol) to a plant then decided to remove a lateral and the machine went crazy, there is a video tho rare and unwatchable unless you have some lsd, those interested may pursue such a line, tests and trails have been done, most bass modern music killed the plants, wrong vibes, but the classic shit Mozart etc etc the plants are supposed to like, vibes are same as bird sounds is the theory...google it

Also Mythbuster's a north Mexican tv show did an example tho hardly creditable the test failed more to their intellect than plant use ...lol

I read an article test where they played clasical music and the plant leaned towards the speaker as if it was another light . When they played hendrix and other rock the plant leaned away from the speaker and stopped growing as well. Another test harsh tones were played and the plant died all together . Kinda interesting stuff lol but after reading i try not to rock purple haze in my tent

Echoes is great, but if you wanna get them gals into some Classic classical Floyd, put on the Atom Heart Mother Suite LOUD!

Saw them do this "Suite" after intermission at Winterland in '71 Orchestra, choir and all! Now you know why I am, the way that I am...bwhahahaha :fire:
