Why doesn't the gay couple join a club or shop online?
Come on, we all know why. The gay couple are trying to get publicity and force their agenda on everyone else, to deny this is a lie.\ and you know it.
the gay agenda?

you mean, equal rights as dictated by the constitution?

you don't own the gadsden flag, ya hateful racist bigot.

so you want to deny service to people because they are gay or black, but it's the other side that's promoting totalitarianism?

makes perfect sense.
Give us examples where business owners are asking government to control who they do and don't do business with.
Waiting.

Many people still believe that a completely free market will somehow equalize itself before the nation it is tied to explodes from turmoil and unrest, if it survives attack from another nation.

Unfortunately this is not a reality, too many problems would come from this laissez faire market.

The constitution DOES NOT guarantee people "civil rights" based upon who they choose to have sex with.

I'd LOVE to see the framers of our constitution react to the fact that men today who love other mens' butts are considered role models.

What people do in private is none of my damn business. And I don't care what men do with other men in private. Just don't tell me that rump rangers should parade around in public like it's an admirable alternate lifestyle. Or is covered under the constitution.

If my opinion in this matter makes me a bigot, then consider me a proud one.

Negative.

This couple want to have a wedding in their town of anchorage.

They do not want publicity, they want service. So they file suit.

If I did not receive service I would file a lawsuit. What the media chooses to sensationalize cannot always be controlled, sometimes people see media attention.

Relegating every situation to this status only results in a zero sum game.

This is a hot topic that gets views/clicks, of course the media will latch on again and again to get their incomes.

you're bigoted as fuck.

you say it's none of your business what goes on in their bedroom, but now you say you should be able to deny them civil rights and equal protection because of it.

so when did you decide you were heterosexual? i assume you contemplated the alternative, maybe even tested the waters a bit and decided it wasn't for you, right?

Phil jensen is a politician you fucking moron.
a self-billed super business friendly one. he is there to advocate for the businesses his constituents own.

and he wants to make it so that they can deny service to gays and blacks if they want.

if you want examples of actual businesses that share his desire to deny service to gays, i can name a few offhand. arlenes flowers in richland, washington is one of them. i forget the name of the cake shop in oregon. and then of course there is the business that brought us this thread, all of whom want to be able to deny service to gays and want the government to make that possible for them.

Negative, the Christian owned business wants to exercise their !st amendment right to freely exercise their religion..
The gay couple will have to look elsewhere, or move to San Francisco, sorry.

I don't want to deny them rights. They're FINE by me. I have a gay friend. My son likes his gay professor. I just don't want their lifestyle shoved down my throat as a "natural alternate lifestyle". Bull fucking shit.

I was born a heterosexual. As nature intended. Since the main purpose of nature is to make living beings act in a manner that maximizes their chances of passing on their genes. And homosexuals are counter to that.

Fuck you.

So what is this gay couple going to do now? Now that the business is closing and they won't get their wedding.

then they can open a private club and kick out all the blacks and gays they want.

but if they advertise their services to the public, they have to serve the public.

There is no simple solution when religion is involved, it is intangible and ever changing, rarely does it adhere to logic when applying it own beliefs.

I would ask the homophobic couple to open their private club, this is the solution to those who feel they need to put their beliefs on others.
