I have an excellent coco crow going right now. I'm in 10 gallon smart pots 16 days into 12/12 and already have nice flowers and yada yada

Well like most coco growers i feed every time. This works good and all but as most of you know I will be watering daily if not twice daily for the entire flowering period. (plants are huge as well)

I am spending a lot of money on nutrients with that being said. Has anyone whose grown in dirt and coco see a price difference because of the amount of nutrients being used. Its not like hydro where it can be reused so I am tossing in 50-60 ml of bloom nutes daily and then additives on top of that. coming in at around 900 ppm

I am thinking about switching back to a raw dirt mix with some added ingredients. I have never grown in soil on the scale I am currently growing either so I'm not sure if nutrient usage would be the same or not.

How big are your plants?

Personally I've never gone bigger than 11L pots for my 2-3ft girls.

Currently I'm TRIALING 18L pots to see if it makes any difference to my yield.

Already my coco costs have increased by the volume I'm using which ultimately will increase my nute costs over time.

Granted in a 4 plant grow the extra cost is negligible.

I tend to feed every other day sometimes once per day in late flowering.

I'm up around 400g from my little 400w setup.

5 plants taking up a 4x6 area at least in 10 gal smart pots with a 15% perlite mix. It take 2 gallons to begin achieving runoff.

I think it makes sense to veg less and grow more plants with coco coir.

I'm just curious if any other soilless growers have had to spend a lot in nutrients due to watering frequency
