yes! store bought tomatoes are picked green a ripened chemically so its never a problem for them. Harvesting tomatoes off a plant is like harvesting apples, you should be doing it over time as they ripen if you want the best product (ripened on the vine). some varieties need to be picked slightly before ripe or they split (usually cherry tomatoes but lots of other kinds do too). Letting most varieties go for too long will also result in splitting. You should have picked those ones a bit earlier to avoid it.Harvested like 10 pounds of tamatoes haha they were big ok bastards pulling my cages over
