Risk and wait? Or early harvest?

So my very first grow is near harvesting time but just today I notice a pest... Fungus gnats. I'm not sure if whether I should risk it and wait longer or early harvest? Any help is appreciated please and thank you.

Fungus gnats themselves arent harmful its the larvae in the soil that damages plants. If you have little and I mean tiny white wrigglies in your soil then let it dry out completely and leave it thirsty fot a day or two to kill the larvae. Get honey tape for the gnats.

The plants dont look the healthiest so this is what I would do. In my opinion your not at much of a loss. With that said I would harvest, clean out every nook and cranny and start a new cycle. What genetics are you using? I had plants that looked like that and I believe it was due to heat stress or just bad genetics. Keep germinating and keep flowering. I have had times where I had to cut my loses and just do early harvest but I never wasted the plant. Candy, carmel drops, chocolate covered nuts or just make some RIck simpson oil. Best of luck

Mosquito Dunks or Mosquito Bits or any product with BT for mosquitoes will take care of them in short order.

your fine to wait it out until your ready to harvest. the above poster is correct, the gnats dont harm much its the larva that eat your roots. unless you have a really really really insane infestation them larva dont eat enough to hurt a established root system. They are more harmfull to clones and small seedlings who dont have much to lose. a plant with a full root system will be hard pressed to suffer much from a little root nibbling from the larva.

Gnats, pfff. More of a inconvenience than anything. Filthy F'n white flies now, that's a different story. If you have a small cfl or any light bulb you can get close to the plant like within a few inches turn it on about 5-10 minutes before you start cutting. It will stir them up and off of your plant. Not all but a decent amount.

I got this clone for free from being a fist time patient at a local dispensary te clone had a label saying it's from DHN Fire OG I honestly didn't know how I feed it so I feed it maybe 3 times thru out the whole cycle using miracle grow wich was a mistake. I know better now a lot better. Maybe just newbie grow. That plant almost died on me like three times was under lots if stress.
