Too late!

It was about to start raining so I decided to spray my outdoor with pyrethrum beforehand. I think the rain cleans it up a bit after.

On inspection I found several top buds with seed pods developing, not empty calyxes.

I can take pics later after the rain subsides if you want to see.

Doesn't mean necessarily that it was this stupid neighbour but it goes to show how easily it can happen.

Lucky I'm growing on the terrace for fun and not money otherwise I'd be going mental. I just flowered off some old mums and a couple of seeds and was too lazy to transplant. Still nice for me to see how those phenos finished off naturally.

Growing outdoors can be quite lucrative here so it's hardly surprising that everyone is doing it. Last year I grew a few outdoor, same amount of girls and it sold for €1,000. Taking into account that the average Spanish monthly wage is about €1,000 you can see why they are all at it.

Ps still planning the brightly coloured note idea but will use a grinder instead of a rock. I've got plenty and am more likely to get the result needed.

He has as much right to grow his male plant as you do your females. All I can say is get over it. Or is it against the law to grow males? I thought it was just common sense that if you grow outdoors you do not have control over everything and you just have to accept the consequences, be it pollination, insects, deer, whatever. It's called nature.

Sure it might be selfish of him, but at the end of the day that's all you have against him. Just ask him nicely.

And hell, he could be some crazy guy with mad genetics and you're about to obtain the best seeds of your life

Every year they grow the same crappy plants without sun and nutes. They are not breeders. The fact that they have the females on the other side within a few metres shows how inexperienced they are.

Plus it's 2 male plants, not one. I told the grow shop guys in my barrio this morning and they couldn't believe it.

Every year you expect a few seeds in the outdoor because as most sensible people know, pollen can travel miles.

Anyhow pollen gets through my filters on my AC and into my proper grow room, there will be hell to pay.

I'm going to throw over a note later on.

I'm glad I did a lazy grow this year. Not worth the effort if they're really seeded.

Interesting how one type of blue rh are flowing faster than the other more sat dom. Like when they grow indoors.

The new neighbours with the discreet fence look like they have a couple of lovely plants, all bushy and going into flower. It's a shame.

When you sell outdoor, exterior we call it. It's expected to have some seeds in it. It's not supposed to be seed weed.

It's will actually be quite interesting to see how seedy the weed ends up from a 50 metre range rather than a few miles away. Last year I got about 5 seeds per plant and more on the later ones. I blamed it on the Moroccans!

Then move somewhere where it's not a potential issue. I'm sorry, i just can't see the issue. He has a right to grow males, and if the polen spreads to you, that's just nature.

And you've said yourself, the wages in spain are appaling, so if he is simply growing to smoke and not sell, then well, who cares if it's seeded, and he can save himself some money not buying seeds, no matter how cheap they may be. What is the saying, every penny counts.

The way i see it is if you grow to sell, then it's upto you to create a situation where you have nice sellable bud, which as i said, might require living somewhere else. Someones cannabis income being dependent on your neighbor, well that's a stupid business plan and they deserve to make little money because their bud is all seeded. As you've said, yours are just for fun, so who really cares, ask him nicely why he grows as he does (maybe he actually has a reason, maybe he is actually a kind person who is simply ignorant) and if he refuses to remove his males, then oh well, shit happens.

All my neighbours' plants that are were getting sun all day long are now getting seriously confused with these sunless days and then full sun again. some plants are reveging other throwing a male flowered branch, this year i dont thik the outdoor is gonna be as good as last year. Maybe around Lleida its been a bit better but i dont know, I hear Girona been having a good end of summer but their outdoor usually sticks around there.

It's been a pretty cold summer compared to recent years. That's why we're indoor growers! I know the weather has been better south of here, like Tarragona. My plants have grown ok. Major pruning underneath due to Sun moving.

Clones- i'd want to cut 100 for that price. Got order this week for 50. Only meeting half of it- lazy hada.

Exactly! This will become evident soon enough. I have experience outdoors with random pollen but 50 metres away and I'm expecting fully seeded females as if I was breeding.

Like I said, there's a difference between a few seeds and seed weed.

No in all seriousness, go round and say that some of the other neighbours are really pissed off that their crops are going to get ruined, but you talked them out of doing anything drastic. For now. Suggest that maybe the best thing would be to get it gone before they all go mediaeval on his ass.
If he blows you off, go tell all the neighbours he said they could suck his balls. Then everybody's pissed at him, everyone's a suspect and you can apply paraquat, glysophate, agent orange etc without it being traced directly to you.

It's always great to wake up, look out the window and see that your neighbours are keeping a male MJ plant. I noticed it was seperated (only by 5 metres) recently and now I'm sure it's got pollen sacks/balls hanging all over it.

I've got 8 girls on my terrace 50M away in full flower.

How can people be so stupid? His other plants look crap and deficient.

So, what would you do if you saw this? I'm fucking screwing btw and it takes quite a bit to piss me off.

When you grow outside, getting your females pollinated is just something you'll have to accept. Pollen can travel for miles. If you don't want your plants pollinated. YOU have to take preventative measures, not rely on others. Basically, this means growing indoors.

I think they are young. I live in a grow barrio and I can see five different neighbours with plants out the back. They wouldn't be happy either. There's a 6 bed indoor grow on my other side. Hope they are using filters.

It's annoying coz we have grow shops everywhere and I even sell clones. New customer for next year?

Yes. threats are always the first and best way to handle any situation. You may also be sending your boyfriend to an asswhipping, or worse. And, of course, causing a ruckus and bringing the police into it are always a good idea for pot growers. There's a reason your neighbors are growing inside, not outside.
