Thumbnails

These are preferable when posting pics. There are a few threads that I don't even bother looking at anymore because it takes for ever to load a page due to all of the full size pics.

Anyone else have this problem or am I just running on a slow connection?

I guess # 2.

I load full size because they can then be blown up on RIU to extreme detail.

I'm usually on my phone (with wifi) so it could just be me.

Are the thumbnails not as big once you click on them as the full size pics?

No, they're about the same as full size before they are enlarged on the site.

You are correct. They can be full sized. The thing I do like about the thumbnails is that you get a counter on how many views an image has.

St0w, in on mobile too and no slouch Internet or wifi and experience problems from time to time. I swear the code for this site gets buggy

I load full size images because I have a hard time viewing the thumbs. The RIU thumb viewer frequently doesn't load right on my computer (Firefox?, Windows). I frequently have to reload 2 - 3 times or more before I can see thumbs. Also, like Amos_Otis says the full sized images can be blown up to show the desired detail.

I hate the slow loads too, but the trade-off is worth it for me...

You're probably more advanced on computers than I, but switching to Google Chrome from IE has been extremely worthwhile.

Well, looks like I'm in the minority here. lol

No one else clicks on certain threads and it takes forever to load due to all of the full sized pics?

Maybe I need a different ISP
