Problem with hygrometer readings in grow room

First of all my hygrometer is Acurite Wireless Thermometer model #00592W3. Basically it has a big standup motherboard that displays the info and then there's also a small outdoor wireless sensor that you place out side and then the big mother board display inside will show the inside temp and humidity that it's measuring and then the outdoor sensor sends the mother board display unit the outdoor temp and humidity.

My problem is this, i'm growing in my closet and i put the big mother board display unit in there and i put the outdoor sensor in there just because i had no where else to place it, but I checked it today and they are not reading the same results which they should be right?

My inside temp @77 Humidity @ 62%

My outside temp @70 Humidity 72%

WTF??

Are they next to each other, other parts of the closet with less airflow may be more muggy.

Did you synch it up as the directions said?

Also radio waves and interfere with the signal, and you cant expect Walmart's hygrometers to be 100% accurate but it is a good guesstimate.

You don't want either one in direct sunlight. You want them out of sunlight pegged to the back wall of the closet.

They are within 2-3 feet of eachmother but I think they should be very very close in readings if any difference at all. I know they shouldn't be 100% accurate but which one's readings should I go off of if they're different?

There's usually a sync button on the back of things like that, if not test it some where else or closer to each other , if that fails take it back to the shop.
its fucked:)

lmao word will do, there's no sync button but I'll try putting them right next to each other and see if that helps before buying a different one

Reasonable price, accurate readings. At first we placed the outside thermometer in a wrong place, but after moving to a better spot it is giving accurate readings.
We noticed it takes over 30 minutes to adjust to give an accurate temp. after moving the outside thermometer. So be patient.
The letters are large and easy to read. This is the 2nd Acurite thermometer we have purchased. The 1st one lasted over many years and died of old age it was also a good product. (Posted on 7/14/14)

Always have a back up ...non electrical, ...go pinch yo moms turkey temperature gauge, they are the best for accuracy, with great range

you need to switch the indoor unit to display the outdoor not indoor.
What does this mean? switch their location?? i read the manual there isn't much instruction to be honest it just pretty much explains what the display unit is showing. How do I "switch" the indoor unit to display the outdoor not the indoor? it displays both
