You are VERY mistaken about what "Lucid Dreaming is". If it were "Dreaming Awareness" it would be called "Dreaming Awareness".
Lucid Dreaming USUALLY is activated by realizing "Hey, I am dreaming". But, Lucidity itself within a Dream does NOT directly have anything to do with being aware that you are in the dream.
For example, if someone is an Alzheimer's patient, and they "Lack Lucidity" they may not know where they are, but that is HARDLY the extent of the non-Lucid state. And similarly, being Lucid is not directly tied to being aware of where you are.
I could be a captive in a foreign country with a bag on my head and people around me speaking foreign languages. It does not mean that I don't have Lucidity.
