Vegging under 400 watt mh. 80 degrees. 60 percent Rh. In coco. Feeding age old nutrients. These are clones I took from plants that I grew from seed. Still in my first flower. None of the flowering mothers have this. Any one know anything about this?

a copy and paste from our member @Dr. Who ho that i had saved to my book marks.. the harsh wording is obviously not aimed at you m8...

This shit again? Over the years I, and some others have had direct contact with Mich State Univ. Ag science on this problem. We have sent almost 200 samples to them testing for ANY mosaic virus (many of those with the discoloration depicted in many of the images). NONE have come back as poss. for Mosaic virus. In talking to profs and Grad students. We were told that any MV can ONLY be transferred by DIRECT CONTACT with an infected plant. That means that the plant must touch an infected plant or by you touching an infected plant then touching one not infected. Insect infection is more difficult, but possible. Careful indoor growers are the LEAST likely to get the problem. The Prof said that they have NOT seen a poss in cannabis for years and years. He feels this is due to there NOT being grown industrial hemp in this country as a crop after WW2. Furthermore he feels that the plant has gotten an strong resistance to it from all the cross breeding going on.
When asked about the Wiki post, he reminded me that Wiki is user posted material and subject to doubt!

He states this simple fact. "MV will spread through out the plant and in time express the "discoloration" in many area's faster then Broad mites. Has it spread? Is the plant truly suffering?"

100 % of the tests came back as Broad Mites!!!!!

Treat for Broad mites.

If you must believe in Sunn-Hemp........The solution is simple.......Don't touch other peoples plants and keep the garden area CLEAN and pest free !!!!!!!!!!!

Still get it? BROAD MITES!

I know who you are Snaps (not hard to have figured out due to some of your posts), I know what you do. I respect your opinions........With all due respect....
I feel your wrong on this one.

I agree that it's most likely mites (or possibly heat stress?) and I am sure what Dr. Who says about the misdiagnoses is true, but I just wanted to add that Tobacco Mosaic Virus and Sunn Hemp Mosaic Virus ARE actual viruses and could (with direct contact, as Dr. Who says) be spread to cannabis, but this is realistically unlikely unless you are growing/in contact with both crops (And possibly if you roll your own cigarettes and touch plants without washing hands, but this is probably unlikely). But the viruses themselves certainly exist, they have been sequenced and analyzed and confirmed by genuine sources (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8938983).

is this mosaic virus?

its on two clones i got of R4

it has spread to part of my Dr Who where they are touching
it transfers to clones taken
its not bugs or pH, its plant specific.

if this is not MV then what is it? nobody i have asked knows what it is.

Dont hijack peoples threads.
That mozaic pattern is yet again a symptom of broad mites

Wrong. Not all discoloration like that is from broad mites. Not saying it's tmv, but it's certainly NOT always broad mites. Chem D shows that kind of pigment discoloration as well as some of it's offspring.

if it were mites, my entire crop would have them
its NOT bugs

its weird it sounds like and looks like the pics i found on google of moasic virus.
and is spread only where two plants were touching each other. and not to the other strains that were not touching.

Ok tell bugs they should be logical;) Get a microscope to find out. you have to do more then a 2min google search to get past the newer findings about viruses
I highly recommend researching and getting a microscope. Sometimes it takes more then a quick search especially for cannabis bc you can type in anything about cannabis and get all kinds of off topic pics.
here ya go...you can send them a pic and they will tell ya if it is or isnt

Do you guys think this could be an underfeeding issue?? I have been light on the nutes untill today. Still no changes. But I find it odd that I have two different strains. Almost all the sours but one look great. And more of the bubba og plants seem to be affected. Everything is green just wrinkly and dry?? Feeding them one day. Then letting a few days pass before feeding again. Some plants look great. And the one most affected is wicked stunted. Or maybe early signs of nute burn??? Baffled! Haven't seen any pests

i am going to need to invest in a 100x scope just to be 100% on bugs. i have hit it with mighty wash and nukeum 2x each. doing dunks in 1 gal pots.

i now hope its bugs or nutrients, because its not going away. i clipped off all infected leaves and all the new growth has damage.

i really wish i could get a proper diagnosis on this problem because i dont want to loose this strain, 20% cbd 1%thc (R4)

thats why i think its the hemp virus, im growing basicly hemp at these %s
