more like fill in. the last part of flower, the buds usually look pretty much the same for a while. this is when they can really put on weight. If I wait longer will they fill out?
Correct!!!!!! Wait as long as possible, the yield and potency will be unreal comapared to before the abmber trics. I know it's hard to wait and everything, but now that you have a taste of harvesting, why not try waiting until most are amber and try the "narcotic" high haha.Running 4 plants, 3 of one strain and one on its own and this one seems to have like 100% cloudy trichs with a bit amber and hairs just starting to turn color. Already harvested one of the 3 and looking to do the other two this week as they are indica and more than ready just kinda airy. If I wait longer will they fill out?
Well because this one is a sativa and want to keep it that way haha. I'm not a big fan of that narcotic high anyway, makes me lazy and eat too much haha! I will wait till at least all the hairs are brown with this one thoughCorrect!!!!!! Wait as long as possible, the yield and potency will be unreal comapared to before the abmber trics. Awesome dude, I was just trying to help you maximize your yield and buzz haha. That's the beauty part about growing your own, there's no right or wrong just personal preferance. Good job man!Well because this one is a sativa and want to keep it that way haha. I'm not a big fan of that narcotic high anyway, makes me lazy and eat too much haha! Love to see a picYea I pretty much see no clear trichs and little to no amber. I just feel like I'm going too soon cause the hairs are still white but are starting to brown. Plant is super dense so I don't see it filling in anymore
also some plants will continue to push white hairs if you continue to feed it nitrogen, or it has a lot of nitrogen in the medium.I grew some vortex last year and when the trics were 10% amber the pistils were still white and planty..I had to harvest it ..it was ripe....I mean it had some brown orange hairs ..but not many..it turned out great after the cure..I guess some strains just keep pushing hairs when ripe...I had a C99 do the same a few years ago...again was ripe...so cut...
There is not much yellowing of the leaves so I assume there is plenty of nitrogen in the medium actually.also some plants will continue to push white hairs if you continue to feed it nitrogen, or it has a lot of nitrogen in the medium.
Thanks man! I appreciate the adviceAwesome dude, I was just trying to help you maximize your yield and buzz haha. That's the beauty part about growing your own, there's no right or wrong just personal preferance. Good job man!
Kinda hard to take a pic through the microscope.. I have a hard enough time keeping it steady as it is haha. I want to get one that hooks up to my computer soonLove to see a pic
Letting a Sativa fully mature is not going to change that it is a Sativa. Letting it develop amber trichomes isn't going to make it give you Indica like effects. So I wouldn't be chopping early to try and tailor the high this strain is going to give you.Well because this one is a sativa and want to keep it that way haha.
