My DIY grow cabinet with odor control

Ok, I decided to build a grow cabinet. It will be decent size for one big plant. I found an as-is cabinet for $50 at a cabinet outlet store and based my design off that. My carbon filter hasn't came in yet, so that's why it's not in the pics.

Materials list:
Cabinet - $50
2 High performance computer fans - $20
Fan controller - $11
75w LED UFO Light - $65
Panda film - $17
Hole drill bits - $8
Jig saw - $15 (got used at a pawn shop)
Misc items - caulking, spray adhesive, metal hooks, door latches - $20-30.
Total cost - approx $210.

What I'd recommend is to put your exhaust fan up at the very top, and your intake at the very bottom on the opposite side of the cab. This will remove all the heat that rises, and brings cooler air in down below.

If you don't experience heat issues you'll be fine though.

What strain will you be growing? If you grow a single-cola type strain (such as Jack Herer), you might be able to have two of them in there at the same time.

Thank for the advice. I will jot that down for next time. I don't think I'll have heat issues, hopefully. Those fans push quite a bit of air. I am growing an AK48, fem. I plan on fimming it and vegging for maybe 5-6 weeks so I'm thinking it's going to fill it up pretty good. I'm also going to put a northern light autoflower in there with it for the first 4-6 weeks. I have a PC grow box which should be done by then so I will move the autoflower into it once the other is done.

Just throwing it out there since I am unsure what you ate actually going for. Top top grade bud, yeild, or a mixture of both but if it's yeild you may be able to get a much higher yeild doing a SOG and vegging in your pc case then directly into flowering and just keep doing that so you cut then put p l ants into flower and start new seedlings etc etc. Just something else to think about.

Yea, that may be a good option for next time. I did get my AK48 planted last night and my NL auto planted this morning. I have read a little on SOG, but it just seems like your burning through a lot of beans. I'd be worried about height issues with doing no training though too. I'll read up more on it. Thanks!

Nl5 gets pretty big I am just about to harvest it today and even though I fucked a few things up feeding wise, I LST and super cropped and it is still pretty massive for an auto lots of good bud sights.. I got the seed free from attitude but I'm thinking of buying again because so far it was a blast to grow.. Just watch out on high ppm in late flower

Yea, this makes my 3rd so far. I'm in the middle of my 2nd grow using my PC box (mrgrowpro). I fucked the grow up bad though. Badly nute burned them just a few weeks in and they haven't really recovered. I decided to build this so I could get alternating grow going.

Lol yeah go figure basically all the nuit companies tell you to over feed... I went through half my units before I realized that I could of used that much for 2 full grow lifespans...

I know, it's crazy. I use all BioBizz products. They have a highly detailed nutrient schedule printout. I followered to the T. I burned them bad. They only have you veg for two weeks and then switch to flowering. But I'm just going to start going by what the plants are telling me. Probably won't give nutes for at least the first month. I started at week 3 on this last grow and they hated it.
