To reply to og kush being overrated. Yes its annoying how trendy a strain can be, but if you've actually smoked a real deal elite clone of sfv you wouldn't say that. I'm not talking s1's or back crosses either. I quit once for a week and smoked a thick gravity bong and I remember my face felt like It was melting and people looked cartoony lol
I have a selfed seed from an SFV nug the crazy composer was growing back in in 07- 08. Thinkin about trying to pop.

I've had trouble growing both the blueberry and the OG. Either finicky strains or hit and miss genetics or something about them I wasn't clued into. I've smoked good ones of both, just no luck growing them myself. But I'll try again when I can start a bunch of them and have a choice on which ones to take forward.

I also have never smoke a potent Northern Lights. Whether thats because everyone uses the Norther Lights name on bud that isn't norther lights, or because there isn't a true representation of the real NL anymore.

pineapple chunk by barneys farm. utter utter utter crap!

grows 1/2 as much as the other 8 strains ive grown in the past or currently grow. the smoke is garbage, the yield is garbage, not worth it, even for a newb grower. 1 plant would yield about 2 zips MAX, veg'd for 9 weeks (including up-pot into solo cup time) in 5 gal pot under 1x600. the same growing conditions: barneys farm laughing buddah 3.5+zips, Strawberry cream (kyle kushman) 4.5-5.5zips per plant in 5 gal pot, gorilla glue #4 (tester plant in 1.75gal pot yielded 2 zips), OG Ghost (tester plant in 1.75gal pot yielded 1.5zips). so as you can see, the PC is CRAP!!!!!!!!! compared to my other strains. the only other strain that doesn't produce is my Valentine X CBD strain. but I use her for edibles only for medicinal use for 1 patient and myself who suffer from migraine headaches. otherwise that strain would be gone as well.

I do keep one as a mom and run 1 plant every 4 harvests to change up my flowers available to my patients. she gets a spot in the freaking corner. shes lucky I don't put a "dunce" cap on her. lol


strains my former caregiver used to grow and were CRAP:
red dragon
chernobly
jack herrer
but im guessing it was grower error. all his flowers were garbage. the reason why I became a grower. unhappy with whats grown and offered to you, grow your own and be happy.

man I would never say kush is overrated but the use of "kush" is overrated.

Alot of people are claiming things are some type of OG Kush when they really aren't.

BUT DAMN some of those OG Kush crosses are FIRE!

I've found things crossed with Ghost OG to be good but the Ghost OG I had was just okay.

The most flame was some Recon Kush from Las Vegas hope to see that again soon.

man!!! you sure know your stuff cause yes i mos def agree! i mean ive been smoking nothing but the real kind dankys for years now and i mean nothing but the highest of high quality and yes although this may be my first run at growing i like to think i know a few things about real quality bud! stuff your "bff" tells storys of around the fire... lol but really dude yea id say its one of if not the absolute best buds ive seen, she walked into my life 2 summers ago and i havnt been able to let her go since lol..... thanks for the post broski!! oh and have you tried the agent orange yet??

No i haven't tried any agent orange before. I'm addicted to that og kush. Coffee and og kush in the morning makes for a really great day.

Ok, I grew Big bud for years back in the day. Killed it! Seemed better than any critical cross i've tried! Never did try critical mass by itself. Why would you nowadays though? I don't get it? Can't get away with that shit these days here in cali! Thats for sure
