So, just so as not to have a reason to call you out on attention whoring, what's cooking? I've got me some onions I've been caramelising on the stove all night, exciting times! Getting ready for some hot dogs.
Sounds all too familiar. I'm just into a house on London, about to evict myself on search of somewhere with a real oven and a lack of cockroaches. University starts on Tuesday for me, had about one proper meal in the past fortnight. Living off pickled eggs right now fortunately my budget is working in my favour at present. Got about £2000 surplus, but refuse to spend it, even if there are about 50 fried chicken shops within 50 metres of my front door, and an awesome looking Japanese restaurant. Gonna go out tomorrow and buy a few kilos of topside for some jerky though. Still plan to try selling it via the student union bar. Perfect beer food.haha yes
i had some issues got evicted than moved than now back in university, and such , also working fulltime, i dont think ive eaten a decent meal in a few months
pretty sure i had a bag of chips last night LOL
oh man i have 13,000$ sitting in my bank account right now , gotta love student loans, they give you way to much and refuse to give you less :/Sounds all too familiar. In the uk it comes in instalments. Ive about 4k sat in my temp account. We can choose exactly how much we ask for (other than the mandatory 9k tuition loan that goes straight to the university). I asked for every penny, but due to my age and income, qualified for a 10k grant. Ive set mine up that I transfer every penny of loan straight to my father who then has a monthly standing order set up so I have a set amount each month. When I've all 4k in my account, it just becomes way way too easy to say "oh, I've 4k, what's 20 quid". I'm trying to do things in as adult a fission as I can. Ive known too many folk who jumped on their loan to buy a laptop or TV or Holliday and lived off of pasta for 6 months as a result.oh man i have 13,000$ sitting in my bank account right now , gotta love student loans, they give you way to much and refuse to give you less :/

That sounds cheap. Mine is £9000 a year for tuition, and then £10000 a year for living expenses. That was the one thing I did love about being a full time chef, even on minimum wage, I never had a second to actually spend it. Gave me the ability to buy rather shiny electronics. Loving this surface pro 3, and I've still yet to touch my monthly allowance, and its almost the end of the monthyes ive had to limit myself , my school was only 6 grand though, and the rest is living expenses but i work fulltime so i have extra to play a tiny bit around, but i dont even have time to go spend it lOL
