what kind of results you getting with a 150w light? i know it's a small tent but surely you could get a more powerful light in there!
also interested to see what a diagonal scrog is, any pics?

Hey there grievous! I got 50g from my last grow which was a Blueberry and a Cinderella99 both in 10L Hempy's under a ScrOG. I didn't dial it in as well as I should have so I think I can get even better results this time around.
Also, I really want to get a bigger light, but I can't really afford a bigger bill than this for now, and also this is a stealth grow so I can't have a bigger fan making any more noise.
I will upgrade as soon as I'm able, but for now this is what it is.
A diagonal scrog is exactly the same as a conventional scrog, only it's in an oblique position, making for a bigger surface area than if it was horizontal.
I'll be posting pics soon, but the screen isn't in there yet because they are in early seedling stage.

First pics.
(a little back story for those interested: I seeded the PurpleHaze with the Northern Lights with the intention of making a side by side grow of those strains. Unfortunately the Northern Lights turned out to be gimpy in it's seedling stage and even went so far as to throw a pistil!!! haha Anyway as soon as I saw this I assumed it would be a fail and decided to germinate a Purple TrainWreck to make it up. Luckily the Northern Light bounced back and it looks as healthy as the others now, so its a 3-way grow!)
Off to a good start. 7 days in.

Hey Jad. Good to see another grow. I am pulling up a chair. Your setup sounds good to me. Your tent is 2 feet x 2 feet so 150W light is on the low end but ample for that size. I read that 40-50 watts per sq foot is ok and you have almost 40w per sq ft. I have 8 sq ft and a 400 watt which works well. I have never tried a hempy grow.. interesting stuff.
How long have you had the tent? ...seems I remember you used to have a cardboard box in a shower stall.

You are right indeed. My last grow was a Blueberry and c99 grow in the carboard box and I yielded 50g from both combined which was sex for me haha
But I went all paranoid over the summer and tore it down when I got back and got a tent instead. 2 major reasons.
1- I am visited regularly by my family so I didn't want the risk of them finding the gig. I made it collapsible by getting the tent. Much more relaxed now.
2- I didn't think the carboard box was sealed up enough. I always got the impression my air circulation system wasn't fully functional. Now with a more "airtight" tent I really feel the difference of the extraction fan. Especially on the temps.
And yes, the tent is still over the shower stall, so I still drain through the bottom of the tent! Hempy bucket hand watering, stress free! =P Check it

I have thought about Waterfarms myself. From what I have read they are popular and used a lot. You would probably only need maybe 1 or 2 and your plants should grow faster and larger... just be sure to keep using the H2O2 if you even think your res temp will get over 78 deg F. It will help keep the slime and other nasty stuff out of your res. Slime and other nasty stuff likes warm water and nutes in the water but they can't survive well in oxygen enriched water.

Heh! Well now, if you'd offered some nice person a couple of hits you could have had 48g AND sex! I have been getting at least 200g from my 60 X 120 cm tent so I would think with waterfarms you could get close to 100g or more if everything in you setup was meshing.
I don't have worries about family members or drop ins tho. Anybody I can't trust isn't welcome here. A little paranoid is good imho.

I have the same tent! I put a Onyx Bloom Led in there with a cheap China panel for the spectrum, it is muy perfecto! I was going to attempt the 150w at first but LED is the same cost or similiar, watt-watt on the bill, no heat, and it is much more powerful! 
I want to see pics of the diagnol SCROG!
I use Hempy as well. I was moving back and forth between tents and only had 2 1-gallon HEMPYSwhich I let get severely rootbound and had to cut at week 5 due to security issues and got 1.2 ounces each plant!

Do you have a link on how to setup a Hempy Bucket? Been seeing those around a lot lately. And I have some seeds to test out that I don't want to throw in my aero unit, at least until I know they are worth while to keep and do a full cycle. Otherwise I'll just put them into 5 gallon smart pots.
*FYI - I just got Fat Purple by Hazeman Seeds (Purple Rhino x G13 x Fat Marty)

I am seriously contemplating them. For 50 bucks plus the add-ons for making it more efficient, it pays itself off multiple times on a first harvest!

That sounds great! I have been looking alot into the LED scene. It's an investment (if you don't go the chinese way). But it looks like I'd get more light and less costly bills... Hempy is simple and versatile. Try it out even if in smaller scale, it certainly wont disappoint. You could also make a semi-hempy with your 5 gallon smart pots, and it would probably work awesomely. I wonder if someone has done it.
Just put the smart pots inside a 2 inch high container and fill the smart pots with 4 parts perlite to 1 part vermiculite. that way all the waste water from the smart pot gets held in the container up to the brim making for a 2 inch water reservoir just like in the hempy.
With the added capability of the smart pot's material that could work wonders now that I think of it!

It's awesome to see the change in the plants vigour as soon as the roots hit the Hempy reservoir. It's slow at first when they are shooting roots, but once the roots find that water layer they just bounce!
The healthiest and most vigorous looking one now is the Northern Lights which started as the runt mutant. It's in the smaller vase so it's gotten to the water reservoir sooner. I wonder if it'll go female. And if so, what kind of yield it'll give off.
Anyway here it is in the seedling stage when I found the freaky cotyledon pistil haha
And check out those first freaky and twisted serrated leafs. I never thought it'd straighten out!
I'll probably make a pic update tomorrow.
