My exact thoughts on "flushing" as well!!
What is it your trying to flush?? Anything you feed your plant is broken down on a microbial level. I guess look at the bi product of photosynthesis and then ask yourself what it is you are trying to accomplish by flooding the root zone with water? I'm just trying to figure out if one thinks there buds are holding a bunch of chemicals, how did the chemicals get there? You feed flower nutes when flowering because the plant uses (not tranfers to budsite where P&K just hang out) that combo of P&K. If she wasn't using the nutes and there was extra just hanging out. You'd have a nute burn problem.(root problem, not extra chemicals at budsite problem ) You feed molasses to push resin for more trichs right? (Im guessing) there extra molasses hanging out on your buds that need to be flushed? No. Because it was broken down into simple sugars. Just like everything else you feed it. Organic Chemistry...

If you have a whole plant in front of you, snip off a little chunk, dry in microwave for 45 seconds or a minute inside a paper towel, smoke...then decide.

Because microwaving bud will give you a good idea/comparison on what properly dried and cured bud will smoke and taste like right?

id rather smoke that shit green off the plant than microwave it.
my favourite way to test before its dry is to smoke the scissor gunk after your done trimming, or what i like to do is pluck the leaves by hand for a bit and get some nice finger hash.

Shaman & I am not sure, I did not write it down.. Was busy at the time & just threw it outside. Wish I would of though.
Naw you dont sound like a dick I actually appreciate you weighing in and sharing your opinion. I've read that argued a lot within the past month.. Only reason I figured I would need to flush is because I used salt based nutes and fed fairly heavily (Not to the point of nute burn)Wasn't trying to sound like a dick. Great grow by the way!! I watched them with binoculars and the dudes were starring pretty hardcore. One guy was on a shorter machine and he stood up when driving by just to look over the fence. Jack ass. We had one night where it got down to 41 and it actually made my plants start to grow faster the next couple weeks and they started to turn purple then so I was actually hoping for a couple more cold nights lol. It stays a little bit warmer here, I talked to a friend who has grown here outdoors a couple years and he said that generally in ground plants can make it here til halloween. I hope he's right because two of my in ground ones won't be done til at the earliest the 15th and really probably more towards the end of the month. I am most concerned about mold & rippers. Especially with these damn road work crew driving by all the time where they can see over the fence!
You think even if fed salt based nutes still same concept? (Fox farm nutrient line)
Also I inspected it closely today and saw a couple white hairs here and there just now starting to turn brown.
That would indicate not quite finished just yet, right?

On a side note:
We are getting a little rain. If we get some later in the evening should I shake it off then spray greencure fungicide? Or too late for that plant and it would effect taste/final outcome?
I was going to wash off with a hydrogen peroxide solution the day before cutting.

I do it right in the field. Brass pipe and lighter and I`ll know where it`s at.

Your like, one of those that has to look at the gauge to see how much gas you have in the car....
...... when what`s left of it stones me out good,...what does that tell ya about before I heated it ? Right off the plant into the bowl, heated, is no different a high than if I let it taste good Charlie.
