Just keep on pretending like they only accept one form of ID at the polls, or that some States are so relaxed that you can simply sign an affidavit saying that you don't have transportation. We won't even get into the shifting trend of voting by mail or religious excuses.what if they don't have a car or drive, like millions of people who live in urban areas?
if i grew up and went to college in north carolina, i wouldn't be able to vote. my driver's license, taken at age 16, would bear little if any resemblance to me at age 30. my student ID wouldn't allow me to vote either, disenfranchising tens of thousands of college students (i.e. the difference in a 15,000 vote obama win).Just keep on pretending like they only accept one form of ID at the polls
we already do, and it is 99.999849% effective.Heaven forbid we have some minor security and accountability for our most important right.
not valid in north carolina and other states. It's just sooo much trouble for me to show them something with the same mailing address as they have on file
So Democrats and minorities are too poor/stupid to get an ID?if i grew up and went to college in north carolina, i wouldn't be able to vote. my driver's license, taken at age 16, would bear little if any resemblance to me at age 30. my student ID wouldn't allow me to vote either, disenfranchising tens of thousands of college students (i.e. the difference in a 15,000 vote obama win).
NORTH CAROLINA
Effective Date: Starting in January 2014, poll officials will ask voters for a photo ID (and give notice it will be required in 2016) but no photo ID is required to vote until January 2016.
Acceptable Forms of ID
Every qualified voter shall present photo ID bearing reasonable resemblance to that voter to a local election official before voting. “Photo identification” means any of the following that contains a photograph and that shall have an expiration date and be unexpired, provided that people over 70 may use an expired ID that was unexpired on their 70th birthday. For ID (4) through (6), no expiration date is required if the issuance date is fewer than 8 years before it is presented.
- North Carolina driver’s license, including learner’s permit or provisional license.
- Special non-operator’s identification card
- Passport
- Military identification card (no requirement that it have a printed expiration or issuance date)
- Veteran’s identification card (no requirement that it have a printed expiration or issuance date).
- Tribal enrollment card
- A driver’s license or nonoperator’s identification card issued by another state if the voter’s voter registration was within 90 days of the election.
we already do, and it is 99.999849% effective.
you simply want to disenfranchise minorities and democrats because you are an idiot with bad ideas that people don't like.
not valid in north carolina and other states.
that's why they are called "voter ID" laws and not "anything with your mailing address on them" laws, you dumb shit.
you keep saying that because it is your belief. i don't say it because it is not mine.So Democrats and minorities are too poor/stupid to get an ID?
You keep alluding to this but haven't the balls to actually say it.
oooo, nice try there, Bucko. But in NC for people ages 18-53, your license is good for 8 years. The ID you propose in using is not valid. That being the case, NC will give you FOR FREE, a voter ID card.if i grew up and went to college in north carolina, i wouldn't be able to vote. my driver's license, taken at age 16, would bear little if any resemblance to me at age 30. my student ID wouldn't allow me to vote either, disenfranchising tens of thousands of college students (i.e. the difference in a 15,000 vote obama win).
Hmmmn, stats showing how easy it is to get away with fraud within a system will little to no security?we already do, and it is 99.999849% effective.
You simply want to act like people are helpless babies with no options at all in life.you simply want to disenfranchise minorities and democrats because you are an idiot with bad ideas that people don't like.
You are correct. Every state is different and some are more relaxed than others. I guess they will have to go with another option in NC, like, I dunno.. a free picture ID for voting? Fees are waved for over 70 as well as the blind and other handicaps. Even being homeless waives the fee.not valid in north carolina and other states.
Boy, you just hate being proven wrong, huh? You think Voter ID still means DL only? Settle down, princess, mommy should be home soon.that's why they are called "voter ID" laws and not "anything with your mailing address on them" laws, you dumb shit.
of the two million blacks in NC, 25% of them do not have ID.oooo, nice try there, Bucko. But in NC for people ages 18-53, your license is good for 8 years. The ID you propose in using is not valid. That being the case, NC will give you FOR FREE, a voter ID card.
No-Fee ID Card Program
After January 1, 2014, you will be able to apply for a free NC identification card to be used for voting. To qualify, you will need to:
http://www.dmv.org/nc-north-carolina/id-cards.php
- Prove your age and identity.
- Prove your NC residency.
- Be registered to vote in North Carolina.
- Not have a valid driver license.
that was almost a sentence in english.Hmmmn, stats showing how easy it is to get away with fraud within a system will little to no security?
you simply want to disenfranchise democratic leaning voters. You simply want to act like people are helpless babies with no options at all in life.
show me a state with voter ID that does not require some sort of government issued photo ID, but rather a utility bill or something like that to vote.Boy, you just hate being proven wrong, huh? You think Voter ID still means DL only? Settle down, princess, mommy should be home soon.
Pray, do tell.you keep saying that because it is your belief. i don't say it because it is not mine.
25% of blacks don't have ID. will 100% of those who vote be able to and/or know to get one?
the statistics align with no, invariably.
the tactic is to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands if not millions to "fix" that which is not even broken.
anyone who believes that voter fraud, at 0.0001151% of all votes, is a problem deserves to be ridiculed for the stupid idiot they are.
there are checks. If there's no checks, how can you know it doesn't happen?
I'll even give you a whopper of one to start with:show me a state with voter ID that does not require some sort of government issued photo ID, but rather a utility bill or something like that to vote.
Wisconsin you need Id to show who you are. You also need to prove where you live. And if it doesn't match you don't vote.of the two million blacks in NC, 25% of them do not have ID.
of the half a million blacks without ID, approximately 150,000 (conservative estimate) are of voting age and do vote.
of the 150,000 voting blacks in NC without ID, let's say 90% of them go through the hassle of taking a day off work to go to the DMV to get a voter ID.
that leaves 15,000 blacks disenfranchised, the margin by which obama carried the state in 2008.
the GOP has already stated EXPLICITLY that this is not about protecting the vote, but rather about swaying elections.
what's so hard for your dumb ass to believe about this?
that was almost a sentence in english.
our current voting system is 99.9998849% perfect, and does not run the risk of disenfranchising hundreds of thousands if not millions of voters.
you simply want to disenfranchise democratic leaning voters.
show me a state with voter ID that does not require some sort of government issued photo ID, but rather a utility bill or something like that to vote.
alaska is not even a voter ID state, moron.I don't believe voter fraud is a rampant problem of any sort. What I support is adding security and generating a minor amount of evidence to support fraudulent claims. It's really that simple.
I'll even give you a whopper of one to start with:
Alaska: An election official may waive the identification requirement if the election official knows the identity of the voter.
Here's another one from Delaware: In the event the voter does not have proof of identity with them, he or she shall sign an affidavit of affirmation that he or she is the person listed on the election district record.
I can go on and on..
You gonna shut that big mouth of yours or do you wanna keep digging yourself some more holes?
right now my ID does not match my address.Wisconsin you need Id to show who you are. You also need to prove where you live. And if it doesn't match you don't vote.
Kinda screwed if you just moved and didn't update your id
College students are moving in now
had to fix your broken reply again, dumbass.thats the pot calling the kettle black
oh bucky u so 1 up me so good you are genius . is this better ? or shall i give 2 flying shitts and a giggle ? NO..had to fix your broken reply again, dumbass.
yet another quality post from you.
So you meant photo ID, not voting ID? I answered according to your question of voter ID. Alaska and Delaware both have laws in effect, §15.15.225 and Tit. 15, §4937 respectively. Hey, have you ever tried to twist a situation in order to call somebody names, you little fuck weasel?alaska is not even a voter ID state, moron.

You may also present one of the following forms of identification if it includes your name and current address:
- current utility bill or pay check;
- government check or bank statement; or
- other government issued document.
neither is delaware for that matter.
you must have shit for where your brains should be.
No problem, buddy. Your State says you can also use a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the name and address of the electorright now my ID does not match my address.
Try to stay on topic. This is about wisconsin. Colorado doesn't have a photo ID requirement to voteNo problem, buddy. Your State says you can also use a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the name and address of the elector
EDIT: Or, simply renew your address with the DMV online and print your own label showing your new address and attach it to the back of your CO driver’s license or ID card.
