Hi,

Vegged for 3 weeks and switched to 12-12
Plant has been under 12-12 for 3 weeks exactly today
No pistils - do these pics look like a male?

Not really,
I think I see a pistil, after three weeks I suspect you up-potted them at switch or have a light leak.
If you switched to larger pots, you have up to two weeks of root expansion before anything else will happen.

hi,

No i didnt up-pot them.
I planted her in a pot that would be suitable for flowering from day 1
But it did have a nitrogen deficiency for a good week or 2
i gave her low doses of nitrogen until she went all green again and is looking happy!
but now she just isnt showing sex clearly.
PS: I fed low low amounts of nitrogen as i believe less is more.
the recommended dose was 1 tsp per litre of water and i gave only like two little drops in a litre of water.

Take pic's towards the tops not the crotch. 3 weeks in 12/12 they should be showing. You sure there are no light leaks?

Yea im 5 days in, 12/12 an seeing little white hairs.

Theres no light leaks. its in a grow box inside a closed cupboard - and the cupboard doors seal.
its like a box inside a box as an extra measure to stop light leaks
this worked for my previous plant wonderfully!
now this new plant just wont bud. Checked again today and cant see signs of sex at all.
Is there a possibility its just not mature enough to show signs?

What some ppl don't realise is just because u switch to 12/12 does not mean ur plants old enough to start to flower some strains need be a certain age ect before they will flower u can set plants to 12/12 from day 1 does not mean it will start to bud u need veg for a certain amount of time or use clones ..clones will bud straight away cause they of age it like when a girl get her period she can't breed till she's old enough
