Is PS4 for liberals and XBONE for conservatives?

I wish a future proof main board existed. When I fork out $400 for a m/board it's superseded like two or three months later when a new revision comes out.
If you pay a little more initially you can get one that will last you for 12-18 months of upgrading and then is still usable for a couple of years after that until you start to notice it's not quite doing "Texture Details: Very High" in the options very well anymore.

Well I would agree with you but the blatant ignorance in your post makes it hard to side with you at all. While the PC has all these capabilities it also comes with extra headaches. I prefer to have a system where all my buddies can boot up the game and we don't have to wait for others to set up their video, sound, controls etc. I prefer plug n play if that makes me "stupid" well I fear what you are.

When it comes down to it not everyones PC will be able to run the new game that comes out, while your waiting for your new video card or motherboard to arrive I am diving deep into the game and enjoying it.

I have had almost every system created, the sega master system is one of the only ones I never had the chance to own. I have had gaming PC's that blow shit out of the water for a year or two but after that they are sluggish and need an upgrade. A fools money is not hard to come by.
Tell me something you can do on a console that you can't do better on a PC...

Good luck.

So what is someone with an Xbox and a Playstation as well as a gaming PC?

Labels, labels everywhere!

EDIT: we have a wii, a snes, an original Nintendo, and a few others as well.

But the PC has all the games the other two consoles have, a better input device and you can use your TV with it.

Plus most games are downscaled for console anyways, people look at PS4 graphics and say "Oooh", its like "meh, PCs did that 5 years ago".

Some people care about graphics, some people care about multiplayer, some people care about how many times a day they get a blowjob. It is all preferences.

I paid $440 in early 2010 for a GA-X58A-UD7 (v1.0) it started to die on me about 2 months ago. Pulled out the GTX680s, HDDs and PSU then sold the case, CPU, M/B and RAM for $450 with no peripherals. Only thing that shat me about the board was the NEC USB3.0 controller. Buggy and unpredictable in terms of transfer speed. Other than that, I'm stoked i got some resale value on something the would've otherwise become a brick.

PC gaming is an unlevel playing field, for competitive play to be equal you need to all have the same capabilities.
A good internet connection, gaming mouse and punkbuster?

Console fanbois will forever be that.

They'll forever deny the fact even the consoles are starting to use PC architecture because PC's are simply better at performing lots of tasks quickly (ie physics calculations, etc) whereas classic consoles are designed to do just one job sorta well.

I don't think you realize I am a PC gamer with a console... pretty hilarious though. I can see the good to everything even a pile of shit has its use. No matter what you do you can't make everyone build their PCS the same way to enter a competition. Consoles also last longer than 12-18 months, this generation of consoles is supposedly going to be around for 8 - 10 years. We all know how fast technology moves though so it could be 3 years and new systems again. But the fact remains they last a lot longer for a lower price.

I also enjoy some of the console exclusives and that is mainly why I got a ps4, not because the graphics or the hardware inside but due to the fact I want to play games that they offer exclusively for people who throw down the money.

Either way bro, you sound pretty mad about the situation so my advice to you is just save your christmas money and hope you can yourself a PS4 so you can be like me and have best of both worlds.

Lol...

Your PS4 is an overpriced, under powered PC.

Why would I want that?

If I had to guess I'd say most the guys in my PC gaming clan consider themselves conservatives. The other half libertarian. Just from casual observation. They're all good guys.

There is no hardware advantage that will give you the upper hand against a better player in regards to either console or PC. This frustrates some people and they buy hacks/cheats. Then down comes the ban-hammer.
First person shooters are made for keyboard + mouse. You ever see a console kid plug an Xbox game pad into a PC and try to play against PC players? They don't stand a chance. But I'd rather eat a sock than play a driving game with a keyboard/mouse.

I'd like to play the next Batman game on PS4. That being said the only advantage I see to consoles is the ability to hear everything through your home theater audio system and being able to recline on the couch. It's hard going from 1440p at 100+ Hz / 100 + frames-per-second to a console. But with the right medicine I'm sure it looks fine.
