What am I doing wrong?

Growth is very slow. This plant has grown little to none since transplanting to a 7G container approx. a month ago. Ph = 6.5
I obviously am doing something WAY wrong, but can't figure it out. I transplanted this seedling to this 7G container of R/O 707 (Dolomite lime amended, 1 cup/cubic foot) watered with a ph of 6.7, then it hasnt grown or needed to be watered over the past month.. If anything it is loosing leaves.

I thought ph issues, but 6.5 shouldn't effect it to that degree I wouldn't think.. I thought 6.5-6.8 were good ranges to be in.

P.S. I know the room is way to messy for one lol

Your soil looks overwatered! More sun,light and airflow! Nute burn?

That little sprout looks way to small to be in a seven gal already. Your probably drowning it . Theres like four nodes on that thing. Five leaves in total. Have you ever seen people growing in a solo cup? Thats because you need to have the right sized container for your plant. That thing should be in a half gallon container right now. It needs to get wet, then dry. To the point where the pot and dirt together feel light in your hand. This is possible if you dont pour a whole bag of dirt on a seedling in your case lmao :p

In not kidding at all right now. Get shovel and dig it out and drop it in somthing smaller and it will probably take off in a couple days when it dries out. Soil looks like its nice but your right, tha plant looks like its been smacked in the face a couple times. Have you been feeding it already? Cause it looks like the bitch slaps could be nute burn??

I had just watered it literally like 5 seconds before taking the picture lol. I wait til they are pretty bone dry (Probably drier than I should) before watering again, so I don't think that is it?

I have very good air exchange. (1000 CFM intake for about 20 plants & 1500 CFM exhaust) It's under a 600W.

I can't quite figure it out.. Half of the plants are growing very well, the other half are having issues similar to this one, just most not to this degree.

I also waited to transplant until it had a very established root system and have not fed anything, so shouldn't be nute burn, but I don't know?

Thanks for stopping in man.. I just can't quite figure this one out :/

Naw no feeding. And only have had to water once in a month since transplanting :/

Being in too much soil would make sense, but I am still unsure. I waited til its roots were ready to explode in the solo cup, then transplanted here.

I see people do this outdoors and there plants do well. Usually I go from solo cup to 1G to final container indoors, but skipped the 1G step here to save time watering. Some of my seedlings that I transplanted to 1G are doing similar stuff, just not quite as bad and are still growing, just slowlllyyyyy. Others are growing great and show no issues at all. All watered/fed pretty similarly.

So probably too large of a container and that is the reason? I have seen people go from solo cup to 10G indoors with good results as well, so I am still unsure, although open to any and all ideas.. I want to figure this out!

Theres something fucked up if your not watering for a month dude. Are your temps in the 40s or something? Is the humidity where they live at 110% all day? Under a six hundred id water a seven gallon once every twothree days with good airflow and a carbon filter with air cooled lights to boot. How highs the light? 24" or four feet? You have fans running on them?

Yeah for sure that's why I decided to post & try to figure it out cus something def messed up. Most of mine in 7g I water once a week then next watering starts every couple days once roots are more established. It's like this one doesnt want to drink or grow at all.

Humidity is 25-40%.
Temp = 68-78
No carbon filter/ vented lights in this room, but it is right next door. Filtered clean air coming in 24/7.
The light is approx. 2.5-3 ft above this one. I have larger plants in there making it higher up.

My other small seedlings are just stretching, which I figured she'd do the same? Guess not.
Very good airflow as far as fans to. I had pm once and learned the importance of good air circulation/flow. I probably go overboard costing me lots in fans but oh we'll..

Oh and idk if the pics really show it, but its having some type of issue with the foliage... Like its eating itself for nutes or burnt one or the other.. I haven't fed nutes, only watered in beneficials when transplanting & 707 soil so not too strong

Ok so ya got a funky plant, if its not heat, over watering, ventilation, light too far away, too much peatmoss, or anything that makes sence then im at a loss. Take the dumb bastard out and empty a clip of 9mm shells through the side of it and yell "GROW YOU USELESS PIECE OF SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!". Who knows, it might give you better drainage :roll:

Im at a loss man, good luck though ;)

Haha for sure man! In right there with ya. I might set it up closer to the light and see if that forces it to grow at all. Thank you for helping out. Gave me some food for thought anyways

For sure I just sprayed two days ago. May have to go hit em again here before too long.

Only other thing I can think of is if the run off was not an accurate reading of what the SOIL ph is. Idk though, after only watering once in good soil you would think it would still be able to grow. All the others did in the same soil mixture & same water regimen, etc.

Have you ever tried isoprople alcohol to kill bugs? .....if that's the prob.... Just before your about to give up, spray rubbing alcohol on your bitches. Don't be shy...get them good and wet. Then uproot her, shave down her cooked roots and try some fresh dirt. If bugeye is right you need to vary the treatment so as not to develop a resistant colony.

Lol i will probably turn to more of a chemical approach since in veg. Like flora mite, etc. I have used iso for mold tho in veg. Shit works wonders, is great to have around the grow room. Didn't know could be used for bugs to, thanks for the suggestion.

Lol well I really respect Bugeyes opinion and he's a very knowledgeable dude, but I sincerely hope that he is wrong. I got my plant count bumped way up recently and have way to much to loose down there... I can't just simply burn them and sterilize the room then start over unfortunately :(

Do you think flora mite/avid/forbid, etc would rid them? I am hoping that is not the case to begin with, but need to get a better joulers loupe/microscope.

Any suggestions on a good one?
