Looks like Obama Care is costing us all more money.

How can you lefties deny this?

Wal-Mart (WMT) said Tuesday it would eliminate health-insurance benefits to part-time workers who work fewer than 30 hours per week.

On a conference call to discuss the changes to the retailer’s benefit plans, Sally Welborn, Senior Vice President of Global Benefits for the company, said Wal-Mart will continue to focus on giving employees quality benefits, but it’s no longer able to look the other way when it comes to costs.

“Health care costs keep going up for all of us in the U.S.,” she said on the call. “We’ve worked hard to prevent passing increases on to associates, but this year, we’re increasing premiums for associates.”

You do realize that Walmart can triple the wages of every hourly employee, provide healthcare to all employees, and not even raise any prices. They won't do that however as they are greedy as hell.

If you feel so strongly about it don't spend another dime there. Hell most people are dumb enough to work for free at wal-mart by checking their own shit. The problem is the people you're trying to help, financially support the stores. If you try to explain to them the consequences of shopping at the store it's like explaining to a toddler that candy is unhealthy.

PS: Obama's ACA has many loopholes these corps can use, that is indeed the fault of the democratic senate that passed the bill hastily. Everyone knows that all corps will use loopholes that financially improves their well-being, lets not act coy.

I always hear the word "greed" but never have seen a definition that fits the word.

Can anyone offer up an objective definition of greed?

More importantly is how the greed is satisfied.

If you are a greedy fat pig that loves to devour things that you own that is one thing.

If you are a greedy fat controlling pig that loves to devour or control things you don't own, that is another.

My apologies to the pigs for being used in this example.

Government might seem to fit your description, however, I'm unaware of any private organization that forces it's will on people, compelling them to hand over money or time without benefit or consent.

Again, your description of greed doesn't seem to be a valid objective definition.

If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride. Sure they could do that, if they were in business for the sole purpose of providing for their employees. Its crazy that they were offering benefits to anyone less than 30 hours a week in the first place.

This is a good thing for the progressives, right on schedule. That's 30,000 more of our fellow Americans that were just converted by the Borg. This IS the plan. This is how you backdoor single payer into reality, when you can't win an up or down vote. Make no mistake, Obama and his cronies are high fiving over this news.

If I'm not mistaken, I think RR was referring to big government and the left who support it.
that's the way I took it.
