also.. when running 80 grams of material.. you should atleast be running 2 full tubes threw that.. ATLEAST.. most would run 3.

it really depends on how much pressure and butane u can keep in your tube while u switch to a new can..

but to be honest.. that stuff you got there.. looks like my SECOND RUN of material.. really sticky.. dark.. only good for edibles.

also.. do yourself a favor.. and look at that stuff under a scope.. to make sure there are trich heads.. if there are just tons of stalks.. it could of already ben ran..?

i think its either old.. or already tumbled.

and depending on how many heads are in there .. that will affect the bho yields.. i ran kief.. with mostly heads.. and ive ran tumbler kief.. and the tumbler keif never reached over 30% yield. never ever.

Making hash with kief usually results in dark sappy oil, the only time I ran kief was to make some hash that I had into real full melt but I used my 2 best grades of bud bubble hash to do that.
If you were going to run shitty kief, I would suggest using hexane for a quick wash on the kief followed by micron filtration and then multiple saline washes to get a product that's worth a damn assuming that your kief isn't just finely ground up plant material.

yeah the kief isnt melt or anything, def some powderized material in there. but the first run it produced shatter without even using the vacuum chamber.

this second run is going to sit in the chamber for 2 weeks while im working. its 75g crystal and 50g finely chopped weed.

back in the day I used to vial it up, no chamber, no knowledge. if you didnt heat it the needle before you pulled it out of the chamber, it would come out like glass... shatter without a chamber.

how does it not work like that? boil it twice, then light heat from there. the edges where its thin is def shatter when scraped, the thick stuff in the bottom takes a bit more work.

15g crystal, 15g bud, 1 can of butane, damn rights it shattered with very little vac chamber while I was at work for 2 weeks. put it in the chamber after work and it became just a little more brittle, but had reached its max.
