So basically the op's opinion is that there wasnt a single marijuana user til they changed there laws and the people all went crazy.....i think ive seen this one.
Im sure nobody who buys weed legally in colorado would have bought it illegally anyway.

The article also fails to mention the 50 plus million they gained in taxes already.

And if the average person was half as dumb as the media and governments hope than it might matter but the cat is out of the bag.
Pointing out how one person was dumb enough to shoot his wife and then himself is ridiculous and the nyt should know better.

You underestimate the power of lowest common denominator politics.
It is truly awful the woman died and I can't imagine the terror she felt those last minutes of her life.

Last time i heard alcohol is 100 times more likely to turn a calm person violent but they still sell it everywhere for alot less the weed. Be careful where u draw ur line in the sand

This is not about alcohol. Like I said already, just because there is something worse out there doesn't make anything better.
Spring water doesn't make you kill your wife.
Not everybody reacts to marijuana in the same way as you. Some people freak the fuck out. I have seen it numerous times. It is a mind altering drug. Whether you want to admit it or not.
