The () indicate that part needs to be solved separate first.
2 x 12 = 24
48/24=2.
So how do you get to 288?
For 288 to be to outcome 48 would have to be divided by something that is "smaller" (over 5 times) than the 48, which 2 (9+3) isn't unless there's a catch I'm missing
