I'm looking to start an indoor grow in Africa, but would like as much input as possible on the setup of the grow room. To start off I was going to grow probably one plant, and it it worked out well I would expand the grow. I am not a very experienced grower in general so all advice is gladly accepted. Please keep in mind there are no hydroponics stores around here, but if there is something I absolutely need I can get it shipped, although that would not be my first option.
I am thinking of doing a DWC setup as the plant will grow quickly and it should be cheap and relatively easy to do. I was going to use HID lighting, but considering the electricity cuts out here every so often (especially when a lot is being used) I thought it may be better to go with an LED setup. This would be a more affrodable option as well. If you guys have any ideas for containing the smell I'd appreciate it, I don't know of any place around here I can buy a carbon filter.
Lastly, I haven't decided on a strain. It's always hot and humid here and I hear Sativa's are best for that kind of climate. Any input on strains I should try groing? Or seed companies that you all like.
SO much easier growing in America. ANY information to help me get this project started would be greatly appreciated.
