when i saw the word "shenanigans," it reminded me of something. my brother has always had a way of expanding on words. i heard him say, "shenaniganisms," in a story once. i can't remember the story, but the word stuck in my brain for some reason. i checked my computer dictionary, it's not there. i know this is a tangent from the thread subject, but i wanted to share that,it's a great word, lol.

Yes. She noted she was wearing just jeans and a crew neck t shirt…The jeans were tight as was the t-shirt, but I don't think that had too muh bearing on it. Some though.
And I find it interesting you thought she had an "f" you attitude. I thought she looked more scared than anything. I know my pulse raised when I watched the guys who walked alongside her muttering crazy stuff. That's intimidating.
I too would like to see this experiment done in all types: classy, slutty, dumpy, old, young, attitude, no attitude. And she does seem to have an agenda. I mean, in NY, and on the East coast ppl holler out stuff like that, they seem more forward at saying what's on their minds on the east coast.
It's not over (clearly) but as I've said in other threads: If you're gonna take a risk, you should be ready to deal w/ the concequeces. Not about fair, it's about what it IS.

It's kinda weird the post you're replying to held that position.. if you look at modern men, it's the same story. Why do we strive so hard to secure financial success, physical success, etc.? Because of women.. the peacocks colors are the same as the bankers wallet. All men know this. So it would seem biology tells quite the different story..

We are a product of our biology first, and culture second.
I would expect that YOU, of all our female RIU members, would come clean concerning how calculating females are with their appearance and wardrobe selection, as you seem to be one of the few that shows any semblance of integrity. But even you refuse to acknowledge the truth.

I just want to clarify that I do not think she did or wore anything to deserve the shit she had to go through. I don't believe that whole myth at all.
My wife is cute (and a belly dancer @Hookabelly ). After her early pregnancy visit from the boobie-fairy she pointed out to me that men are now scoping out her titties rather than the head to toe appraisal that she usually gets. It made me more aware of what wyminx have to go through. Kinda creepy. I wonder how it would go if you took these cat-callers and subjected them to gay harassment. I bet most would immediately get violent.

As a man, can you tell me why a woman's appearance should change my conduct towards her, and if it somehow did, why that would justify any actions I took?
It's pretty simple, if you can't control yourself because of the way a woman appears to you, you shouldn't be allowed to be in society. Appearance is an expression of exercising fundamental rights, and beyond being obscene in public, anybody has the right to look any which way they want and they have the reasonable expectation of remaining safe within the society.
In short, it's not how the woman looks that's the problem, it's the way someone might feel entitled to act on a preconceived, often times bullshit, belief based on appearance that's the problem.
