Help my chicken

Hi all

I have 4 hens that i keep wild style in my farm, i dont even lock em in at night. Up until now theyve always gone in pairs and seemed pretty cool with eachother. However now one of them i think has been singled out by the others. Shes all fucked up with half broken feathers and bits of skin showing and the like while the others are all fat and lush, pretty sure they dont let her eat too much.
I feel kinda sad for that chicken shes always chilling alone now and looks marginalized. Any suggestions? Get a rooster to get them in order? Get another couple of chickens see if they make a different gang?

First build a small coop so they 'feel' safe at night that might help some :) But when they start ostracizing it's usually a sick one. Bird's try very hard to hide sickness from predators. I'm sorry but if it's a pet it's vet time, non pet is stew pot, wait how old? Could be a fryer if it's young and I am sorry.

Well now I feel so much better :) But please don't feed her directly to the pussy. As you said, there's no predators so you gotta play predator here and end her humanely. I'd suggest a good quick neck fracture or the ever popular hand axe (if you're male). If you want to get fancy and all humane like inject her with some Pentobarb or Propofol and then bolus her with K+. Don't forget to let the other hens watch as an object lesson. We did all neck wringing in the pen and chanted things about eggs!

as bad as it sounds the chicken is done for.. even if you get new hens that one will bully the new ones until they get better off then it is.. so do the humane thing for the chicken and let it cross the road..lol then fry its ass up.. but if its sick then its all up t you..
