This instance demonstrates two things:

1) The Federal Government is monitoring all extremist groups, even Jewish groups.

2) The Federal Government protected a mosque from being bombed. The plot was intercepted.

Earl Krugel was killed in 2005, 3 days after entering Federal prison. Not enough time to make enemies. He was 'hit.'

What's even more intriguing is Irv Rubin, his co-conspirator, also died in Federal custody. He slit his own throat and threw himself off a building. It was ruled a suicide.
As a growing body of evidence indicates, much of which has already been reported in AFP, Israeli intelligence operatives were almost certainly monitoring at least some of the Sept. 11 hijackers when the hijackers-to-be were operating in California prior to 9-11. And considering the fact that the JDL is known to have closely cooperated on numerous fronts with Israeli intelligence, it is likely that Rubin—now conveniently dead by “suicide”—and Krugel may have been aware of this operation.

Who knows? Food for thought.

Krugel may have been killed by a hit-man working for the Islamists as easily as the Moussad. Same thing goes for Rubin's 'suicide.'

Both men being eliminated suggests a conspiracy of some sort.
