So I'm using an ecoplus commercial 1 air pump... something like 35 lpm

5 g bucket filled to 3.5g
4 airstones
●A light splash of molasses water (mixed hibrix with water)
●1/4 scoop great white
●light splash of hydroguard
●sock full of ancient forrest

having slime problems in rdwc in veg... want to make sure I'm making the best tea possible.... I think it's working but thought that a foam was a good sign things are going well... I have almost no foam right now so I'm wondering what's off...

foam is about water tension. Doesnt really mean anything. There may not be enough food stcock for bacteria and fungi, molasses and kelp

Just noticed water is cold to the touch, I'll get an actual reading later but I'm gonna get a real small fish tank heater to raise it up a bit... I think that will help big time

Yeah, I had the same trouble when brewing in my garage on the cement. A little aquarium heater did the trick.

With the cooler temps lately my tea took about 4-5 days to become "active". No foaming with my teas:)...they go from smelling sweet...into a nice EARTHY FUNK;) keep it up brother.

also leave out the great white. It won't make it through the brewing process

Really, I thought great white was a substitute for zho powder which is in the heisenburg recipe I'm basically following

Just got the heater in.... just seems reasonable those little guys are gonna reproduce quicker in a nice warm bath at about 80*

Excited to see how this tea is going to effect the roots... exciting to see how fast things take off in urdwc

Hi Slimjim,

I have had issues making tea, i used too much mollasses and temps were too cold. If your not getting foam it doesnt mean anything bad, if you have the temps correct and dont go crazy with the amount of mollasses you should be fine after 24-48hrs brew time.

I don't use GWhite i use another product very similar, it is not essential to use in the tea but i add it :D

How much mollasses are you using exactly, how long are you brewing ?
