Cure in freezer??

The buds I get are always dry but never cured and if they are cured, it's never for long enough. They taste like crap, smell like ammonia or hay, and burn your throat. I put them into mason jars and burp them every day but was wondering if they would do better in a freezer and if in the freezer still need to be burped or not. Currently they are in a dark cabinet.

Air dry first like normal. Then yes, they just go in to the jars. I sometimes burb a bit but really not necessary.

Trichomes will freeze and become brittle and begin to break off if you store your buds in the freezer.

Wouldn't recommend it.

Yea I've been doing some more research that says the same thing and that a fridge is ok but a cool basement is better.

a fridge is not okay,,,,way too low of humidity and it won't cure in that low of temps....yes, your basement is a way better choice, pick a cool dark corner

I store my jars in a food cooler (the cigar world calls this a humidor), so it stabilizes the air around the jars to my desired level (62% RH)...so any leakage (in or out) will not change the RH of the buds
