Whats going on guys heres my little test run at a little indoor setup before i go big and start cultivating pounds. I'm experimenting with a small Rubbermaid box grow. I have a 150W HPS light and I am LST'ing this autoflower. I had some challenges when growing like in the start there were some gnats and latter during LST i broke the main cola and up until this point my HPS bleached my upper canopy very little but i approached the issue. She has about 7 decent colas on her and i'm hoping each cola will give me about 7g's.

GOAL: 2OZ's (56G's)
LIGHT: 150W HPS 24/0
FEED: Fox Farm Big Bloom
- Week 1 (Half Strength 2TBS) [X] Oct. 29th
- Week 2 (Three-Quarter Dose 3TBS) [ ] Nov. 10th
- Week 3 (Full Dose 4TBS) [ ] Nov. 20th

(Watering with 1 Gallon EVERY 5 DAYS)

Im thinking 7 grams per cola and theres about 7 here so i think im going to get closer to what i estimated. This will be more than a ounce. If u could see the bud development under the canopy ud be impressed.

I grow under 150w and my best yield was close to 3oz off of one plant. It's all a matter of strain, grow style, training techniques, and an assload of diligence. I strive to make each one of my grows better than the last.

Your girl is looking good man! Never stop striving to do better and you may surprise yourself with your end result!
 
dude,its an auto...i aint saying that 50 g isnt possible with your lamp with 1 plant,but out of a photo plant...autos kinda have a limit to their possibilities(and yield).just remember this the week after the harvest,when all shit'll be dry :P

Thanks bro! 3oz is going to be my long time goal for a autoflower ran under this light but I may be doing my setup bigger next month. Thanks for the comments I am really hoping for 2 OZ's. During LST my main top actually snapped and it looks like towards the base of the stem one of the shoots/tops has a huge knot where the shoot grows from the stem so im thinking it's getting a extra uptake in nutrients since this cola has bud sites right on down to the stem and it growing much fatter than the other tops currently.

I will be posting beginning of Week 3 photos latter on today.

I've seen this plant/strain yield very impressive amounts for a Autoflower. .
 
Oh shit! High moment, I didn't see it was an auto. But even still, an ounce per auto is a good yield. I've seen higher yields though in hydro and such. Like I said before, the more you strive to get better, the better your results!
 
What size containers are your girls in?? The height of the container makes a huge differance in the overall size of your auto.

Autos grow one long main taproot, that then branches out, whereas regular photos grow roots as you'd normally expect. So the deeper an auto can grow it's main taproot, the more side branches of can put off, creating a bigger branchier top of the plant.

On the autoflowernetworks website, there's a really cool thread that explains the whole thing if you wanna check it out

I appreciate the fantastic advice regarding auto flowers. I am openly admitting to a mistake i made which I evidently had little choice in. I am using rubbermaid containers that fit about 5 gallons of soil however the tub is only about a foot deep. So this may limit me a bit for reasons as you mentioned.

Quite pretty colors coming out by the 3rd week here. Love all the purples and reds here and the glass look those big sun suckers have are nice!!! Going to prune some under yellowing leaves next watering on the 15th. The top in the last picture is about 2 feet tall.

Fun guessing pool for yield???

The color of your buds! What strain is it? I thought maybe your room was cool in temp, but I guess its not that. Lookin nice
