"Afghan Kush" or "Cheese"?

i have "afghan kush" and "cheese" seeds (both are feminized). I have a 5x5, 1000 watt tent and was wondering if I should grow them together or only grow one at a time. I only want to do 1-2 plants at a time to get best quality bud, I don't care if it's a longer veg stage.

Why have a toaster with 6 compartments and grill 1 piece of bread
Too many plants and you get B grade bud and less weight at harvest. More than a couple plants is too much maintenance and I'm using 5 gal buckets that take up a lot of space. If you can grow one or two plants in a space you will get way better quality bud than if you do SOG. The only downside is it does take longer to veg.

bro what you should do and this is just my opinion not like it really matters...i would start two of each seed you have more than enough room to let them veg for two months and have MONSTERS once you flower just do a little training to keep the height down before you flower.....and good luck with your grow

Eh?! with a 1000w?
If I do 1 or 2 plants the quality of the smoke for some reason is way better than the usual 4-6 or 6-12 I've seen some other people do. But they usually need a harvest ASAP and really don't mind the B grade weed. I got all the time in the world so I usually do 1-2. Is that unusual or something?? I might Veg 4 of them and give two away and Flower only two of them. Like stated above. It's always nice to get a plant that is ready to flower.

Sounds like a problem with multi-tasking.

Now I can understand having a problem with 6 different *strains*... needing different nute levels, etc...

But 6 plants shouldn't be too much of a hassle. I have 12 in my tent. 6 I'm harvesting and 6 that are three weeks into flower. I like to keep a nice rotation.

Maybe you could try growing 2, then in a month starting 2 more? You have the space, and no sense in waiting for 4 months between every harvest.

I only have 1 tent that runs all the cycles, it would be nice to introduce different plants at different stages but I'm really not trying to have two or three tents with all the space and airflow setup. Some people need to do that for whatever reason, I'm more of a perfectionist with just one tent and one cycle at a time. So what about the two strains.... Any info on these two?? And I do have problems multi tasking. But a pound or two every 4 or 5 months ain't bad. It's all personal anyway!

No need to run 2 tents...

Just find a nice autoflower you like and plant them 4 weeks apart. Keep the same light schedule, and have the same bonus of a perpetual harvest.

But out of those two strains, I would go for the Cheese. I like strains that show a nice Sativa high and slightly sweet flavor. I get so tired of everything being mixed with Kush...

Edit: and why do you say an angry thread? I was only giving a suggestion :(

I don't know anything about auto flower, but sounds like the way to go. I gotta do some research on then. Thanks. Is it always 12/12 light?

Most people stay at 18/6 thoughout the entire grow for autoflowers.

That is the beautiful part about them.

I would suggest looking into it. If you only have one tent, and you have the space and light for the plants, there is no reason not to. :)

Do you use constant HPS or mix in the Metal Halide at all?

I would think most use HPS the whole way.

I will probably do a CMH when I upgrade from my fluoro's. In my tent I run 200w of 2700k and 100w of 6400k, so I have both in mine.

So you can do HPS from seeding to flower? Or do you still use T5 for seedling?

You can use HPS the whole time. You'll have a little more stretch and nodes won't be quite as tight, but it works perfectly well.

I would venture to say 75% of growers use an HPS from seed to weed.

. Wow, this is some sweet info. So I can use one bulb and never have to switch light schedule while introducing babies whenever.... Fuckin awesome! When I get paid I gotta drop a couple bills at attitude seeds and start my auto flower adventure!! And you never have to trade up pots, which is just a pain in the ass.
