Confirmed: two male JillyBean [ trashed], 1 fem QuazyQuake [male trashed], and 2 out of two fem Fireballs. How 'bout that. I've got rooted clones of all 3 girls, as well.I'm just a few days from my 2 fireballs showing gender - they're in w/ 2 qrazy quake, and 2 F2 Jilly Beans. I also have two [possibly 4] Goji OG clones. If I get only boy Fireballs, some girls will get knocked up. I'm thinking GojiBalls, JillyBalls, and QrazyBalls; maybe Fireballs F2.
I'm trying a partial sog out myself, partial cause I am going to flower the 3 revegged ladies I used to get all the clones with all the clones I have going. I'm still pretty new to this so I'm going to shoot you a couple of questions, I have a a 5x6 room. I just put 31 clones and six seedlings that will be the first to go if space becomes a issue. They are small now, they are fresh out of the dome with the fluorescent light over them (they were in there for 2weeks). Now they have 600 watts of MH about 36" over them. How long should I veg them? I was planning on a couple of weeks of vegging, I woulda liked to put them straight under 12/12 but they are small. Also I am going to flower with a 1000 watts HPS how far would you put it off the plants and how much area will that cover with 1000 watts. Your grows look nice, Bob. Shed a little light on the SOG scene for me.
Appreciate it. Yeah those 3 moms are going to give me hell as far as keeping the canopy even.hey green217, tnx
as far as veg time, just depends on stretch of your strain & the vert room you have.
I go straight to 12/12 or 7-10 days veg to get roots established, I like
to keep them short & turn around quick.
31 in a 5x6 sounds like plenty of room, but you may have a hard time doing a sog
with two batches of diff size plants under a single light.
Im new at this too bro, this is just MHO, Im sure there are people in here to better answer
your questions.
good luck bro
Yeah I just transplanted the 3 mom's into 5 gallon buckets, I'm going to tie them down alot, and I have some screen but I don't want to spend to much time training the plants so I wasn't planning on trying SCROG yet. I need medicine soon. I plan on tying down 4 branches or so to help the plant's spread out some. I have not had to much of a problem with stretching during my previous 2 grows, and these are the same BB genetics so hopefully the 1000watt MH for the first couple of weeks of flower will help keep it in check. I have never tried to cover so much floor space before though, so stretching may come in to play more now than before.Scrog them. Using a screen helps w canopy management.
Did you do a finished report that I missed?I had a short and a tall pheno.
I didn't take any notes while growing them but I can go from memory.Did you do a finished report that I missed?
What differences did you notice on the two phenos, ABM? Finishing time, yield, taste/smell, potency? Thanks.
From your description, I'm favoring the short one, as well, but obviously have to run them both.. Maybe it's a coincidence, but most often when there's tall and short phenos, it seems like the shorty is the preference more often than not.Glad to help and hope it was enough info. I am keeping the short pheno around for a bit and will be probably running it again outdoors if I can get a spot next season.
Damn.... I want a visit from the bean fairy!
